If you are traveling through southern Colorado, stopping for a night here is an absolute MUST. it's in a beautiful location with mountains all around, the service was so friendly, the movie-theme of the hotel was so fun and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Most rooms have a view of screen #1 at the attached drive-in and you can listen to the movie through the speakers in the ceiling. We stayed with our two young kids and they had so much fun. Definitely one of the most unique motel experiences I've ever had! The free breakfast was delicious and the dining room has big, beautiful windows with an incredible view of the surrounding mountains. No complaints, highly recommend staying in this historic motel! I would recommend staying on the 2nd floor, as the walls and ceiling are quite thin, and you can hear a lot of your neighbors' activities - but everyone was considerate and quiet so it wasn't a big problem.

We had a really great experience here and would absolutely stop back by if we are in the area. We’re a family of 4 driving through on a camping road trip. I was feeling bad that my kids were stuck in the car for 700 miles, and loved that they got to end their travel day watching a movie. We booked 3rd party just a few hours before arriving with very little understanding of what we were getting into. I just assumed there’d be a movie at night and that we might be able to see it from our room. I was concerned when we arrived and were given a “pet friendly room” in a room block away from the movie screens. It wasn’t a problem at all, the room was obviously recently remodeled and was clean/smelled good. The bathroom is pretty small, but clean and well maintained. Because of the layout of the buildings, there are some rooms that face the screens while the other side of the building/the other detached buildings did not. Because of the spacing, I felt like things stayed pretty quiet even though they were fully booked. We really liked the layout. We arrived late and although our room didn’t face the movie screens, we were able to drive over and watch them. The movie was currently being shown in movie theaters and started at 8:45. I appreciated that there was one kid friendly movie and one geared towards adults.
Breakfast was pretty standard (Warmers with biscuits/gravy, sausage, eggs, waffle station, yogurt with toppings, bread items, etc.) Staff continually refilled stations as they were emptied. The dining area has a beautiful view. Again, everything was clean and obviously well maintained.
Staff was great. The young lady that checked us in also helped facilitate breakfast. She was very friendly and personable.
Because we booked 3rd party, I feel like we were kind of out of the loop for some information. (Not a problem, I should have done more research.) Check out time/time for breakfast wasn’t really posted anywhere in the room. I called the front desk and they were more than happy to give me information. While there was a map taped to the counter at check in, trying to find our room among the multiple buildings in the dark was a little tricky. Navigating the actual drive-in area in the dark with small bent metal posts sticking out of the ground was kind of tricky as well.
Again, we loved our stay and appreciated something so fun and different as a family traveling with kids, especially after a long travel day.

This is a super cute little stop for a night or two. The room and public areas were very clean and staff was very welcoming and polite. The rooms all have the names of famous actors on them and the ambiance is cute without being overbearing. It's got some great old Hollywood touches without making it feel like a themed hotel.
Watching the movie from our room was so comfortable and easy with the built in speaker. The concessions at the drive in were easy to grab and take back to our room! The quality of the concessions food and breakfast was better than I expected.
You can also do the regular drive up for no extra cost if you're already staying at the hotel. I reccomend turning off all the lights in your room to best see the screen (especially if its a dark movie) and pulling a chair up to the window! If you're there more than one night some rooms have a good view of both screens, and you could probably just tune a radio to the other screen to watch it.

I recently stayed at Best Western Movie Manor and it was one of the more unique hotel experiences I've had. The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved being able to relax after a long day while enjoying the drive-in movie view. The staff were welcoming at check-in and made the whole stay feel easy and stress-free. Even though I originally booked it as a convenient place to stay, the movie theater aspect made it much more memorable. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I'm passing through the area.
We absolutely LOVED our stay!!! My husband had found this motel about 3 years ago and wanted to check it out. Fast forward, when I asked what he wanted to do for his 50th birthday, he didn't hesitate. He wanted to go to Movie Manor and see the Mandalorian and Grogu. We stayed for 4 nights and it didn't disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfy, pillows soft, room was clean and the atmosphere was great. We had a room that had the beds facing the drive in screen so we were able to watch the movie from the comfort of our bed. They have the sound switch inside the room and there is a speaker in the ceiling. They have a concession stand in the middle of the drive in, which is vintage. During our stay, they had a food truck and vendor rally that was great fun! They offer breakfast and the dining room has an incredible view of the mountains, although we didn't wake up early to catch breakfast lol. It was an experience, a great one I will add. All the rooms are named after movie stars and you can see the names etched into the side walks too. We plan to go back again. This time we will stay in the Tom Cruise room as suggested by the motel manager. Bonus that the restaurant right next door had great food too!
P.s.- it's an old motel so one shouldn't expect it to be modern. It has character. You can tell it's been well taken care of and yes- you will see some wear. That's to be expected. And you can tell that they have upgraded and replaced what needed it. Again it was an experience!!
