  The hotel receptionist was helpful but he tried to put us into a really old nasty smelly room as a free “upgrade”. What a silly little joke. The regular room we ended up staying in was much better but still kind of nasty.

  Older property that has been extremely well maintained by people who know what they’re doing. This is my favorite spot of the trip so far and I applaud the owners for doing such a great job and having wonderful employees who seem to care about me as a customer and care about the property. I’m taking an educated guess that this was built circa 1972, so 54 years in business. While there are a few telltale signs that it’s been around that long, I’m still just shocked at the great upkeep. Everything is in working order, has a fresh coat of paint or has been cleaned. This is inside and outside of the hotel - including hallways. I took a lot of pictures to show you what I’m talking about and would 100% stay here again if I’m in Santa Barbara.

  We booked a room with 2 queens. We got a room with 2 full size mattress. They said the queen rooms were full. Walls are thin, tp is like sand paper. Hot tub was fine and pool was heated. The idea of the place is much better than the real thing. Price of a nice hotel for a cheap roadside motel experience.

  The place is a construction zone disaster. Good luck trying to get any peace and quiet sleep on their 20 year lumpy mattress. The T V channel lineup on their big screen TVs is so pathetic with no major sports channels and only 20 D TV channels with half of them in Spanish. We had to find a sports bar to watch the NBA playoffs. Is this Mexico?? No breakfast and for rate of over $400 per night. The extended stay rooms are literally on the road with no parking and impossible to access the room with walking on the road. The staircase leading up to the bedrooms does not meet any code and it's so dangerous that if you fall you be lucky to avoid serious injury. Stay away from egis nightmare Best Western.

  A seriously perfect stay! The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was stunning...bright and cheerful. We will return! Thank you.
