  Buen lugar, costo-beneficio. Los cuartos limpios, baños limpios, camas cómodas y el personal del lobby fue muy atento. Son muy jóvenes la mayoría, pero dominan bien el lugar. Tuvimos un problema con ruido en la tubería de la bañera, y nos ofrecieron incluso el cambio de habitación. En el lugar, el resto de los inquilinos no parecían problemáticos, y fue una noche relativamente tranquila. Seguro repetimos quedarnos en el lugar. Puntos a considerar: no tiene desayuno, aunque tiene un muy buen restaurant que solo abre en desayuno y cena (no comida). El lugar en la noche es un poco oscuro. El hotel de a lado si se ve que puede tener inquilinos "problemáticos". Está justo frente al highway, lo que hace por momentos que sea poco ruidoso. Los cuartos tienen AC de piso (de los de pared) y no enfría correctamente todo el cuarto (estorba la cama).

  Check in at front desk was great service with friendly staff. Nearby was Seven Seas Cafe which closes at 10pm. The hotel looks freshly painted on the outside with forest green and turquoise, nice exterior with the palm trees. The room I was given was #144. The hotel structure and setup in room is outdated. Some modern furniture with wear and tear. I personally loved the warm cozy lighting as I do at any hotel I stay. The mini fridge is located under the vanity sink, which to my surprise the door was open. This had caused the freezer portion to melt and condensation built up a puddle of water inside the fridge and some leakage to the carpet. I quickly cleaned with a towel. Since the carpet was wet I headed to front desk to both inform and ensure I wasn’t deducted from my security deposit. As I headed out I encountered the lock on this room door needed a heavy tug to close and lock after a few failed attempts. On my walk over to front desk I passed the family pool area which was being enjoyed and good size. Jacuzzi is in a separate area and adults only. They both close at 10pm. The front desk was once again very friendly and asked me if I wanted to move rooms due to the fridge and wet carpet, I said no because it wasn’t a distraction to my night stay. The gentleman informed me they leave the door open because they are Eco-Friendly. I asked for a replacement towel and was on my way. Management needs to eat the cost of having it running with door closed. The guest experience goes down when drinks won’t be cold with the defrost delay. Coming back to my room again I struggled to lock the door but found the workings. Noticed trashcans in room had no bag. Sink water pressure was non existent while the shower felt like I was being hosed down, I felt squeaky clean after. This hotel is very close to San Diego Zoo and Seaworld. Travelers coming for 3-5 days and out exploring would definitely feel comfortable here at night. Great with location and the essential rooms at night would make a comfortable San Diego stay.

  More like a scam! Booking through booking.com With multiple selection 1. Room with 2 queens size double bed 2. Room with 2 queens size double bed and non smoking room 3. Room with 2 queens size double bed with breakfast Travelling with 2 kids selected options 3. With 3 nights and room rate including breakfast. When checked in at the front desk, staff mention room rate with breakfast only for 1 person. I requested to cancel the breakfast. They initially unwilling to help. They replied you can cancel through platform to rebook ‘cancellation charges on customer’ or pay extra for 2 kids. Finally they offered $25 excluding tax per night to refund. Where booking.com rate still $43 excluding tax differences. Although Facilities is 100% smoke free. However non-smoking room rate up to $100 different. Staff was unhelpful at all, they keep blame everything is booking.com In fact, they don’t update platform trapping customers. After refund I am paying $214 a night in the end excluding tax without breakfast. Where official site is $204 with breakfast.

  You ever see those TV shows/movies where there's a private investigator who's in his car, taking photos of a cheating politician/official who walks out of a balcony hotel room with his mistress? Pretty sure this hotel is the inspiration for that trope. Rough experience. When checking in, there were literally 20 people in line to check in. There were two staff members working, but seemed to have trouble handling the check-in rush. Got to my room and it was...interesting. Beyond the musty smell, the loud AC blew directly into one of the beds, poorly cooling the room. After I moved a bed over, I inspected the bathroom which lacked ventilation to the extreme. The mirror in the main room fogged up from the steam in the bathroom. The toilet would also fill its tank every 10 minutes or so, indicating an improper seal in the tank. Finally, the WiFi router mounted to the ceiling had the brightest freaking blue LED I've ever seen. You could easily navigate the entire room just based on that light alone. Naturally that made sleeping a bit difficult with the permanent night light. Was in town for work but I will definitely make it a point not to book here again if I ever return. There was also nowhere convenient to walk to to get food/groceries/whatever.

  Honestly the location was great but the room itself was not. I cut my trip short because the rooms were old, had ants in the bathroom and scattered in the room. The water in the shower would suddenly get hot then cold and it made it hard to shower. The shower itself looked dirty 🥴. The AC smelled moldy and it felt VERY humid inside. Some of the outlets did not work too. The one thing that bothered me most was the fact that I had a door to another room and that door was super thin cuz we could hear every single thing. With our look we also had noisy people upstairs so to say the least we slept poorly. Also, what was up with the pillows? It’s like they cut them in half lol. I rarely write reviews but I strongly felt people needed to know how this place truly is
