  The staff at the Best Western Humboldt House in Garberville absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the moment we arrived, every employee we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The front desk staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer questions and help with anything we needed. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything spotless, and the entire property felt well cared for and inviting. What really stood out was the attitude of the staff. In a world where great customer service seems harder and harder to find, this team delivered it effortlessly. They made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. They even checked in with us to let us know the status of an important package we had shipped to the hotel and provided an additional room key knowing we had a 3rd guest without us having to ask. If you’re staying in the Garberville area, I highly recommend the Best Western Humboldt House. The beautiful location is a bonus, but it’s the outstanding staff that truly makes this place special. Thank you all for making our stay such a memorable one!

  This was our 3rd night stay on a 4 day road trip. What an utter delight: professional staff, sparkling clean room, very comfortable, restful stay. We walked into town for dinner.

  We were headed to The Avenue of the Giants but weren’t going to make it in the daylight so we stopped here. And I’m glad we did! The service was fantastic! The rooms clean and the beds were so cozy! They even have comforters which are hard to come by these days! The free continental breakfast was so yummy! My girls especially loved the pancake conveyer belt with all the fun toppings! Chocolate chips for the win! Thank you for a wonderful stay on our trip through! Highly recommend!!

  This area is extremely sketchy… definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to feel safe.

  Nothing exceptional, but definitely serviceable. The rooms were large, but not new. The hems were ripped out of our curtains, and there was a mustiness but they were clean enough. Rooms were large. Hot tub was out of service but pool looked clean. It works for a place to stay if doing the Redwoods at a more reasonable price. The location is very walkable in Garberville to grocery and shops.
