  The lady at the front desk was amazing! She made the check-in process, enjoyable and easy. She even gave me a personal tour of the property. The room is nicer than I expected and the location is great. Everything in downtown Carmel is with an easy walking distance. Just leave the car at the hotel.

  Rooms were okay for our overnight stay when we stopped by Carmel by the Sea. Unfortunately we saw roaches in the bathroom which was off putting. The breakfast too was insipid, with cold boiled eggs and some basic cereal.

  Best Best Western experience! Amazing location. Great service. Beautiful hotel in the quaint city of Carmel. Very walkable to lots of nearby shops and food. Somewhat of an ocean view from our hotel. Room was remodeled, not the nicest in the world but still comfortable and cute.

  I booked this hotel late at night by mistake, and within less than two hours I requested to change the location/address. It was still the middle of the night when I called the hotel, but they refused to cancel the reservation. I acted immediately and did not delay at all. After calling the hotel, it did not feel like a real Best Western chain hotel experience. It felt more like an independently operated motel using the brand name. The hotel appeared to be operated by Indian management, and the staff attitude was very poor, rude, and extremely unhelpful. Even though I never checked in and had booked two rooms, they still refused to help. I would not recommend booking this hotel. It looks more like a motel than a true Best Western hotel, and you should not expect the quality or customer experience normally associated with the brand.
