I am a loyal customer of the products and when I went into the shop because I had forgotten my Charlotte tilbury make up and I asked if they would do my makeup as a i had a show to attend, they said yes but it would cost £70, admittedly redeemable against products bought in store.

Visited the Charlotte Tilbury Carnaby Street store yesterday after work, excited to finally try this brand and ready to spend on multiple items.
The security guard greeted me warmly on arrival and again on my way out—genuinely the only person in the store who made me feel like a person rather than an inconvenience. Sadly that wasn’t matched by the sales staff. At least four employees stood around with no customers, none making eye contact or offering help—even as I tested an eyeshadow sample, clearly looking for assistance. Meanwhile, two staff members attentively helped other customers.
I waited at the register, was let a group of women cut ahead of me, and finally got a dismissive “can I help you?” In the end I only bought a eyeshadow stick—far less than I’d planned, since I wanted help choosing shades and exploring more products but never got it.
The contrast in treatment compared to other shoppers was stark and disappointing for a brand I really wanted to love. The experience left me genuinely turned off the brand—if this is the in-store representation, I will think twice before purchasing any product in the future.

Poppy was incredible. What a friendly wonderful vibe!!
I was extremely disappointed by the service my daughter and I received at the Carnaby Street store yesterday. Despite the shop being quiet, no staff offered assistance; instead, several stood around chatting, which made it uncomfortable to approach anyone.
When we finally went to pay, the assistant turned to us and said, “What do you want?” and repeated it when I looked surprised. She then told us to move to another till, scanned my item, and when I asked for a bag, she responded by asking whether I could see she was serving someone else — even though I hadn’t paid yet. The rudeness was so shocking that I walked out, and other customers looked taken aback too.
The positive was going to Benefit down the road, where the service was excellent — and they had 70% off.
