About 2 weeks ago I came in with one of my bridesmaids. I am getting married abroad in October and the make up artists are not to my taste. I am quite clueless when it comes to base make up as I tend to just fake tan and that’s that! But my bestie came with me and she is very clued up, we met Maisha and she was an absolute angel!! Had us in stitches laughing, so friendly and approachable and very knowledgeable on the products. She assisted me with choosing the perfect products for me and complete the most beautiful look for me! Very talented lovely lady and an overall brilliant experience for a bride to be xxx
My mum and I were assisted by Martyna and she was very very helpful! She was an excellent listener and patiently explained to us how to use each product and helped us find the correct shade for each of our skin tone. We had an enjoyable shopping experience at the store thanks to her! :)

Back in 2024, I visited the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Selfridges at the Bullring with the intention of getting shade matched for the stick foundation. I wasn’t planning to buy it that day—I just wanted to know my shade for future reference.
The sales assistant was very persuasive and convinced me to purchase it, even though I was hesitant. At the time, I lacked the confidence to say no, so I ended up buying it despite already owning two other foundations.
When I got home, I realised I didn’t need another foundation and decided to return it. I deliberately did not open or use the product because I knew opened cosmetics are usually non-refundable. The foundation remained sealed and unused.
When I went back to the store, I was told it had already been opened and that they couldn’t refund or exchange it. I explained that it had never been opened and that I was being truthful. I asked to speak to the manager. The sales assistant took the foundation to the back, returned a few minutes later without the manager, and told me the manager had also said it was already opened and that nothing could be done.
I was disappointed that I wasn’t given the opportunity to speak to the manager directly. Looking back, I wish I had stood my ground, but at the time I lacked the confidence to argue further.
To this day, I still have that foundation and hardly ever use it. It wasn’t a cheap purchase, and the whole experience left me feeling pressured into buying something I didn’t need, followed by being denied what I believe was a fair return. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a negative impression of the customer service I received.

I had a lovely experience getting shade matched to the new flawless foundation by Paige this afternoon. She gave lots of amazing skincare advice and patiently answered all the questions I asked her.
