  Party location on Saturday evening. I went there on Saturday for a party together with a girl. Even though we were lacking a reservation, the security let us pass after a few minutes. It was a great evening with DJ, dancing and a lot of drinks.

  Really disappointing experience We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We were looking for a nice place, good food and just a nice evening together, but unfortunately it was quite the opposite. First, they seated us on the terrace, but we couldn’t really enjoy the view because there was a very strong light shining directly at us. There were also spider webs hanging right next to our table, which was honestly not what we expected. We ordered two of the house recommendations for CHF 90 each. For that price, we really expected something much better. The meat was missing a lot of salt and pepper, and the portion of truffle potatoes and chimichurri was tiny. As an Argentine, I have to say that this was definitely not a good asado. And we were still really hungry after eating. The service wasn’t much better either. At one point, the waiter who came to our table started complaining that the girl who took our order hadn’t prepared the table and that the food was already waiting to be served, saying that the other waitress was probably smoking. I don’t think customers should have to listen to staff complaining about each other. It was just very uncomfortable The table was also so small that I ended up eating with half of my plate hanging off the table. We ordered two cocktails, and one of them came in what looked like a plastic cup. I think if you’re charging CHF 25 for a drink, the least you can do is spend another CHF 2 on a proper glass. We also ordered a bottle of water branded “George Grill & Bar”, and it tasted like tap water. We ended up paying around CHF 250, and it just wasn’t worth it. There are places where you pay more because you’re celebrating something special, and you’re happy to do it because the food, service and atmosphere make it worth it. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of those places. We even heard the table next to us, who had spent around CHF 300, leave only CHF 2 in tip and complain about the service when paying. So clearly, we weren’t the only ones disappointed. Definitely not coming back, and unfortunately I can’t recommend this place. We went there to have a nice anniversary dinner and left feeling pretty disappointed.

  Etwas Posh halt; es sind viele Banker und Snobs. Wer dazu gehört hat ne tolle Aussicht auf Zürich, einen ausgezeichneten Service und einen schönen Innen- und Aussenbereich. Bitte Lift benutzen. Gute Drinks.

  Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne hierher. Die Bar ist wunderschön, die Atmosphäre ist einfach toll und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das unglaublich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Auch der Geschäftsführer ist äußerst herzlich und nimmt sich Zeit für seine Gäste. Der Service ist jedes Mal hervorragend – genauso wie die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Absolut empfehlenswert!

  Ich mag das George Bar extrem jedoch, Mein Eindruck vom Verhalten von Chris war leider enttäuschend. Während ich kurz auf der Toilette war, suchte er das Gespräch mit meiner Freundin. Sobald ich wieder zurück war, wurde das Gespräch jedoch sofort beendet und während unseres restlichen Aufenthalts hat er kein einziges Wort mehr mit ihr oder mit uns gewechselt. Natürlich kann jeder mit Gästen sprechen, aber in dieser Situation wirkte das auf mich respektlos und unpassend. Als Paar haben wir uns dadurch unwohl gefühlt. Gerade in der Gastronomie erwarte ich einen professionellen und respektvollen Umgang mit allen Gästen – unabhängig davon, ob eine Begleitperson gerade kurz abwesend ist. Ich hoffe, dass künftig mehr Wert auf ein professionelles Auftreten gelegt wird, damit sich alle Gäste gleichermaßen willkommen und respektiert fühlen.Mein Eindruck vom Verhalten von Chris war leider enttäuschend.
