  Chaos ohne Ende!! Es sind zwar alle Mitarbeiter nett, aber nicht unbedingt kompetent. Meine Ärztin wollte mir zB ein Rezept für die Schilddrüse ausstellen, stattdessen erhielt ich ein Medikament gegen Übelkeit. Eine Zweitmeinung hat gezeigt, dass meine Schilddrüsenwerte völlig in Ordnung sind. Auch schlimm ist die Erreichbarkeit: Bei dringenden Fragen ist man teilweise 30 Minuten in der Warteschlaufe. Nach 30 Minuten wird der Anruf dann ohne Rückruf beendet. Mails werden auch erst nach über einer Woche beantwortet, wenn überhaupt. Aufgebote werden vergessen (zB bei Schwangerschaftskontrollen). Dass die dienstältesten Mitarbeiter jeweils die Lehrlinge sind, spricht auch für sich. Sehr positiv sind die langen Öffnungszeiten.

  Ich habe telefonisch angerufen, über 30 Minuten gewartet, um einen Termin zu vereinbaren, aber es kam niemand. Das war nicht das erste Mal, dass ich so lange warten musste.

  The medical care has always been good and I’ve never had any issues with the family doctors. Booking appointments online is very convenient and availability is usually quick. The reception team, however, could benefit from more experience in patient communication. Although I receive an automatic confirmation that my email was delivered, I often don’t get any follow‑up for several days. What would really help is a short message indicating that the email has been read and that they need more time to provide an answer, rather than waiting for almost a week without any update. Another point to be aware of: if you come in with symptoms like a sore throat, the nurses tend to run a strep test immediately without consulting the doctor or considering the full context of your symptoms. This can lead to unnecessary tests and additional costs. Unfortunately, this practice of running tests automatically seems common in many Zurich practices.
