  Le Château de Bossey est une belle découverte, à la fois pour son patrimoine et son cadre agréable. Les bâtiments historiques, avec leurs façades blanches, leurs tours et leur architecture typique de La Côte vaudoise, ont beaucoup de charme. La verrière moderne qui relie les anciens bâtiments apporte une touche contemporaine réussie. Le domaine est entouré de beaux jardins avec une grande fontaine, de grands arbres et une terrasse accueillante. L’endroit est calme et offre une belle vue sur la campagne. Le château abrite aussi l’Institut Œcuménique de Bossey, un centre international dédié au dialogue entre les Églises et les cultures. Entre histoire, nature et ouverture au monde, le Château de Bossey mérite vraiment une visite.

  Ich war für 3 Nächte im Juni. Hatte eigentlich ein Zimmer im Chateau gebucht - wurde aber mit meiner Einwilligung im Teil Garange untergebracht (ca 500m entfernt) Ich habe sehr gut und ruhig geschlafen, die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber gut! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Frühstücksterrasse super schön! Das Haus versprüht viel Charme liegt landschaftlich sehr reizvoll und dennoch ist man im wenigen Minuten über die Autobahn in Genf. Ich komme sehr gern wieder (wenn es nicht mehr so heiß ist (keine Klimatisierung in den Räumen))

  Le service et le cadre étaient excellent, mais la chambre n31 sous les toits était vraiment mal isolée, et n'avait aucun courant d'air. Nous avons très mal dormi, et aurions apprécié une suggestion d'une autre chambre dans les étages inférieurs, car nous n'étions que 2 et la chambre pouvait accueilir trois personnes.

  This place has both good and bad aspects. The good: the setting/location is beautiful. Price is not bad for a hostel. The main building is well equipped, and the on-site food is excellent and decently priced (hey it’s Switzerland after all). The bad: room cleanliness is hit and miss (at least in the other separate building). We rented two rooms for all of us, one room was OK (small and almost nowhere to hang anything, but at least relatively clean), the other room (next to it) was plain disgusting with snot and nose hair on the walls. Did the housekeeping folks miss it? No idea. Even when we reported it to the front desk, and all rooms had the daily cleaning, this room again didn’t get much attention, just the bed was made but walls still as dirty as before. So overall a mixed experience. Also, don’t follow Google Maps’ shortest (default) walking route from the Celigny village if you have luggage with you (we walked from the bus stop), the path is through trails and fields. Take a taxi/Uber or walk the roads.
