Hotel Walter Au Lac is located right on the shores of Lake Lugano, offering an extraordinary panoramic view of the water and the promenade.
On Swiss National Day, we were able to watch a spectacular fireworks display from here.The festive atmosphere was felt right from the morning, when we were surprised at breakfast with delicious tarts decorated with the Swiss flag.
The location is excellent: the boat pier is very close by, making it extremely convenient to catch a boat for short trips to Morcote or Melide.
The fireworks and the hotel's perfect positioning made this stay an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

Más que un hotel,una segunda casa,una inolvidable experiencia en ese hotel en Lugano.El trato a la bienvenida fue excepcional,además de los detalles de cortesía de bienvenida. Instalaciones muy cómodas,con un balcón precioso y una vista de la terraza junto al lago de Lugano increíblemente inmejorable.Personal muy amable y servicial.Desayuno tranquilo y acogedor.Cercano a muchos puntos de interés turístico accesibles para descubrir Lugano,mi estancia allí me conquistó por completo.Quiero agradecer particularmente a una persona muy especial,Francesca,gracias por todo,no tengo palabras para tí,hiciste de una estancia de pocos días en un recuerdo imborrable🫶🏻.Espero volver pronto

There was was a street party with loud music playing next door all night. The windows were rattling. They really should let you know before taking bookings. I couldn't sleep all night, so what's the point of a hotel?
