I stayed at Agriturismo Miravalle for one night. Prior to make a reservation, I checked the location and was allured by the valley view as the guesthouse is located up the hill — just few kilometers from the main road.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with nice & big smile by the host — Khun Barbara. She took me to the room which facing the Brusio Valley. The room was spotless and well design; especially for the shower room.
Dinner was splendid and plentiful. It started with pasta (I am not sure how it called) , fresh salad, pork sausage , and finally pear with ice-cream. Of course, I ordered wine both red and white. It was really enjoy dinner.
At night, you will definitely experience millions stars right at your front door. Calm weather. Peaceful valley. It was truly memorable.
This is an end of a “normal” part.

Here comes the thing that I considered as “special”.
>> I lost my wallet.
Last time that I remembered it was with me until I checked in and took it to the room and placed it on the bed. From this point, my memory was rather “blurred”. All I did was to went out, drove the car to the Kreisviadukt von Brusio which was just less than 7 minutes away. Then, I went back to my room and, yeah, it was gone.
I told the host, Barbara, asking her just in case I might forgot at the reception or it might fall down within the area of the guesthouse. She found nothing.
The host, Barbara, made her best efforts to assist me. She did even drive her (giant) VW Van repeating the same route I just drove checking whether it might fall down on the road somewhere.
Further than that, she assisted me calling a local police asking whether there might be somebody found it and sent to the police station. Unfortunately, nothing was found.
At that moment, I experienced the feeling of truly grim and darkness. Even though my passport was with me, I have no cash, no card, nothing — seriously nothing. It was at the middle of the trip. I hadn’t paid for that night as well as two more nights in Italy. My fuel tank cannot take me back to Munich either.
Barbara, however, did not leave to encounter the darkness alone. Although she knew that I had no money and I had not paid for her accommodation. She did ask me to have a dinner and calmed me down.
Then, her cell phone rang. Barbara picked up the call, seconds later, she smiled. Her neighbor called her that he found the black wallet on the road not too far from the guesthouse. He asked Barbara whether the owner of the wallet stayed at her place or not. Of course! That was me!!!! Within few minutes later, the gentleman drove his car to handed the wallet to me. I was speechless.
It turned out that I might put the wallet above the car roof (or maybe a trunk), then, drove off and it fell down on the road.
I could not believe, not on my clumsy and carelessness, but the genuine and honest of Swiss. It is too good to be true. They, the Swiss, have really big heart, trustworthy, empathy, and passionate. The country is rich not only in terms of natural resources but also in human resource.
For Barbara, there are countless “thanks” I would like to give to you. If your daughter who is currently work in Bangkok requires any special assistance while she is in Thailand, I would be the local she can trust.
I wish you all the best and healthy.
God bless you and your family.

First of all, owners and all the stuff in the premises are wonderful, super friendly and really helpful! As for the food, five days after our stay in Switzerland, and eating different stuff and dining options, the food here is extra tasteful, the best meal we got!
The rooms, are spacious, clean and with nice views of the valley below!
