  Absolutely love The Bayleaf in Basel for dine-in as well as takeaway. The food is fantastic — authentic, fresh, and full of flavour with a great selection of dishes to choose from. The service is always wonderful and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. You can really taste the quality and care in the food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious authentic Indian cuisine in Basel!

  Wir waren mit einer grösseren Gruppe dort essen. Haben die Hauptmahlzeiten vorbestellt und es hat alles bestens geklappt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Da gehen wir gerne wieder hin. Danke 🙏.

  Top indisches Restaurant! Wir waren mit über 20 Personen für das Abendessen. Im Vorfeld haben wir die Menüs durchgegeben. Es hat wunderbar geklappt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. Vielen Dank für eure Flexibilität und die Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

  Very lively atmosphere-at least on weekends. The food was great. All three dishes ordered (chicken tikka, lamb with mint and aubergine) were very tasty, fresh and well-seasoned. Not too much gravy, which I appreciate. The starter- stuffed mushrooms had an interesting texture and felt more like breakfast food but it had a great taste. The service was pleasant and polite. If it’s busy you may need to wait a bit before your order is taken but a little snack with dips is served almost immediately. Great experience overall.

  Fantastic Place, where we asked for a surprise meal and they really delivered. A great mix of different meats spices hotness delivered with the best of service. I will come back again. The alcoholic rum at the end was a nice surprise. Cheers to the whole team.
