  Our stay at Alpenhof in Grindelwald was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The receptionist was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. Every member of the staff demonstrated the same level of kindness, professionalism, and care, making us feel truly valued as guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. While the selection was simple, it was thoughtfully prepared and served with such warmth and love that it became one of our favorite parts of each day. It is this personal touch and sincere hospitality that truly sets Alpenhof apart from many other hotels. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. Surrounded by the majestic Eiger, every glance out the window felt like looking at a postcard. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery created unforgettable memories that we will treasure for years to come. Alpenhof is more than just a place to stay,it is a place where genuine hospitality meets the beauty of Switzerland. We are deeply grateful to the entire team for making our visit so special and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Grindelwald. Thank you for an amazing experience. We hope to return again someday.

  This hotel was amazing. We were able to book a room on the day we arrived and got a balcony room with an incredible view of the Alps. Reception were lovely and breakfast was great too. Also it was about 100CHF cheaper to book directly with the hotel instead of through booking.

  It's the greatest location on earth. The motel is comfortable, quiet, and lovely. The morning breakfast is a nice surprise. The views from our room were unbelievable. The Beagles are adorable and sweet Thank you!!!

  Definitely a bit older and run down, but still a good option if you're looking for something cute and cheap near the train station. Rooms were poorly insulated and could absolutely head people, and dogs barking, in rooms around you. Hotel breakfast was included and had a nice selection.

  山に囲まれた立地で、窓から見えるアルプスの景色がとにかく印象的な宿泊施設でした。朝起きてそのまま山が見える感じで、「スイス来てるな」って実感が一気にきます！ 客室も思っていた以上に快適で、シンプルながら清潔感があり、ベッドもゆっくり休める感じでした。こんな感じで“景色＋部屋の居心地”どっちもちゃんと良かったです！ 特に天気が良い日はマウンテンビューがかなり綺麗で、ただ窓から眺めてるだけでも時間が過ぎるレベルでした。夕方や朝の光の変化も良かったです。 朝食ビュッフェも種類がしっかりあって、シンプルながら満足感ありました。朝からしっかり食べられるのはありがたかったです！ 庭には看板犬みたいなワンちゃんもいて、近くにいるだけでちょっと癒される感じでした。こんな感じで滞在全体がゆるくて心地よい雰囲気でした。 口コミでも多いですが、静かな環境なのでしっかり休めるのもポイントです。観光で動き回った後に戻るとかなり落ち着きます。 ちなみにここに来るまでの坂はまあまあキツくて、荷物持ってると普通にしんどかったです（笑）それでも着いた瞬間の景色で全部許せる感じでした。 スイスらしい自然と景色をしっかり感じられる宿で、滞在自体が思い出になる場所だと感じました。
