  Ouder hotel, sommige dingen versleten, maar de vriendelijkheid en service gerichtheid van alle medewerkers maken dat meer dan goed. 1 waarschuwing: als je een 2 persoons schotel besteld met 1 extra soort vlees betaal je voor 4 personen (en zoveel krijg je dan ook) Dat was ons niet duidelijk, dus het was een duur diner. (Wel heel lekker)

  Stayed at Best Western Plus Valemount Inn & Suites with my dog Alfie on my way back to Vancouver, and overall it was a very good experience for a road trip stop. The hotel feels newer compared to many other options in the area, which made the stay much more comfortable. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. One of the best parts was the walking trail behind the hotel. Alfie absolutely enjoyed the walks there, and it was a great way to relax after a long day of driving. Breakfast was also surprisingly good, especially considering the very reasonable cost. It was nice to have a proper breakfast before continuing the road trip. The only downside for EV travellers is the charging situation at the hotel. There is only a Level 1 charger, which is unfortunately not very practical for electric vehicles on long road trips. Charging at around 1 kW per hour only adds a very small amount of range, so even after many hours overnight, you gain very limited distance. For EV road trippers like me, the more realistic option was driving about 5 minutes to the BC Hydro fast charging station, waiting there to charge, and then returning to the hotel afterward. Other than that, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially for travellers with dogs.

  stayed 1 night , very clean, nice room. Very strong shower which is a nice change. Friendly staff, easy to check in & out. Quiet rooms, even with all the CN workers there. Lovely clean pool & hottub ( slide for kids).Lots of parking available. Very nice back patio area. Is located off HWY but quiet & the trains are pretty muffled off in the distance. I wouldn't say it's within walking distance of town, maybe by bicycle or car. The town has a IGA for groceries. Nice walking trails & marshes nearby on a wildlife refuge. Observation tower is there to take in the views. Thankyou for the water & dog treats. Only bummer is no continental breakfast- but a restaurant is available.

  What a beautiful hotel! We had the pleasure of staying here recently and it surpassed our expectations. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern, and the views were beautiful. The pool was the highlight of our stay- it was the cleanest, nicest hotel pool I have ever experienced. The pool temperature was comfortable, and hot tub was hot, and the slide was fast- the views from the pool area were the cherry on top! I was also very impressed -we paid $21 (with scene points) extra for breakfast for four. We ordered off the menu and received a $70+ breakfast. The menu had a small but nice selection of items - I had a bagel with avocado, poached eggs, pickled onions, capers and arugula- it came with salmon but I opened out as I am a vegetarian. Overall this it a great place to stay as an individual, couple, or family. Our 8 year old daughter commented many times that this must be a “5 star hotel!”
