  Best Western Dorchester Hotel, Hotel, Nanaimo. Four stars, a week ago, 23 views. Family. Great experience on the island. Rooms: 4 | Service: 4 | Location: 4. Hotel highlights: Great view. We took family over to Vancouver Island for a long weekend, drove from Vancouver as you see in my photos. First shot is Lions Gate Bridge heading out, second and third are Sea to Sky and coastal highway toward Horseshoe Bay, blue sky, mountains, classic BC drive. Fourth with plus eight is ferry approach with ocean and islands. Hotel was clean and comfortable, family room had two queens, enough space for kids and luggage. Beds good, bathroom modern, water pressure strong. Service at front desk friendly, check in fast, they gave extra pillows. Location is great, short walk to harbour, restaurants, seawall. Parking free, easy in and out. Not luxury but solid for price, great value on island where hotels are pricey. Views from upper floors overlook harbour. If you are doing family trip to Nanaimo, this is reliable choice. We would book again. Close to ferry, easy to get around. Recommended for families wanting clean, simple, great view. Will definitely return next summer with our extended family too soon.

  清潔な客室でスタッフも親切でした！ ナナイモの繁華街に位置するため、hulloフェリーからのアクセスも良いです。

  Four hundred a night is pretty steep for basic motel room. Has a fitness room, no pool, hot tub, sauna, breakfast.

  If you have luggage avoid this hotel. The parking is far from hotel and need to walk uphill. The drop off parking infront of hotel was full even though it said 15 min parking only. The hallways are very narrow and feels claustrophobic. Room was clean. Asked for cutlery and plates from front desk staff and they said they will call back but never did. Overall was disappointed.
