  I recently stayed at the Best Western in Wainwright for an extended period. Basically a full month across two stays of about 15 days each with a few days off in between. This hotel turned out to be an excellent choice and what truly makes it stand out is the outstanding staff. The rooms are clean comfortable and well maintained with beds that work great for a long work stay. The overall facility is functional and reliable, exactly what you want when you are away from home for weeks at a time. Everything stayed consistently very clean throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping the rooms fresh. Where this hotel really shines and honestly feels like a five star experience is the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome. They were fun friendly and full of personality. By the end of our time there, we were on a first name basis with some of them joking around like old friends. It truly felt like a home away from home! They did so many thoughtful little things that made a big difference. When we were barbecuing they happily provided kitchen supplies to help us marinate our meat and prepare our sides! Even after the breakfast room was fully cleaned up for the day they let us eat in there on multiple occasions without hesitation. That kind of flexibility and warmth is rare and really appreciated during a long rotational work stint. The breakfast was noticeably better than most hotel spreads too. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a solid variety of hot and cold options. It was a great way to start the day. If you want a clean comfortable reliable hotel where the people truly make you feel cared for and valued I cannot recommend the Best Western Wainwright enough. The staff turned our stay into something special. We will definitely be back on our next rotation. Thank you to the whole team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Very clean & modern rooms, good location, staff kind, approachable & helpful. The breakfast room was very clean, hot food was hot, cold food was cold. Coffee was ready and tasted like more! We were there for a Grad and they allowed us an early check-in. Overall, a very positive experience!

  Such a refreshing change to the many hotels I stay at around the province. Loved the front desk staff, the attention to detail throughout the hotel within public spaces, and the rooms. Very clean and welcoming. The breakfast bar is unlike anything I've seen across the province. Constant fresh brewed coffee, fresh sliced fruit, fresh hot food, great selection and all stocked very well, constantly cleaning tables as people leave. Very impressive. Looking forward to my next stay at this awesome Best Western in Wainright. This hotel needs to be a training facility for the rest of hotels. It's very impressive to have management and staff that can clearly speak English and appreciate your money, unlike the majority of poorly run hotels with a different kind of management and staff. Read between the lines in that comment and enjoy your stay.

  Stayed here off and on during a work stint of ~6 weeks. Very friendly & helpful staff, they have an excellent rotating breakfast selection and the hotel is in a good location for access to other amenities (food, groceries and liquor store all withing walking distance from the hotel). The rooms are clean / modern, the water pressure is great, and water actually comes out hot. My only complaint: I wish the shower curtains were longer (constantly getting water all over the bathroom floor is the only reason I removed a star). Overall, I will happily stay here again the next time I'm in Wainwright.
