Stayed here for a medical appointment in Edmonton, we chose it specifically for its separate bedroom from the rest of the room. My husband needs to sleep after his procedure and this gives him the privacy he needs. It was a great room, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, desk, sofa bed, even had a spare blanket which you don't normally find. Only down side - bed was too soft and the edges of the bed were quite hard digging into your legs when you are either sitting on the edge of the bed or if your leg is at a 90 degree angle when laying on your front while sleeping , is how I sleep. Breakfast is great, huge assortment to choose from such as pancakes, waffles, cereals, fruit, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt , hard boiled eggs, coffee/tea/juices, etc... It was very quiet, a great big beautiful grassy park area next to the hotel in a residential area. ***Word of WARNING- do NOT get a room on the Time Horton's side, otherwise you will be woken up at 5 am by "I'd like a double double!" We learnt this the hard way once, don't make the same mistake we did. I mean, who puts a drive through right next to a hotel- in the same parking lot??

Terrific place. Different rooms do have different quality beds, so there's that to be aware of. The breakfast was great and there are plenty of amenities within walking distance.

Front desk staff were excellent! My husband is in a wheelchair and makes it very difficult to visit family in their home. The staff allowed us to use a meeting room adjacent to the breakfast room for our dinner with family! My family brought dinner and we were able to sit in the room, around a table and have an enjoyable meal! The beds in the rooms are too high, my husband could not get up onto the bed to go to sleep. Front desk had no foot stools for us to use so we had to improvise. The shower head in our bathroom wad awful, no ability to change the setting on the shower head. The water came iut without much pressure, I couldn't even get the shampoo out of my hair let alone the conditioner.

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus St. Albert. What impressed us most was the balance between city convenience and access to nature. Even though the hotel is located near fairly busy streets and traffic, we were pleasantly surprised that within about a 30 minute walk we could reach the beautiful trails and peaceful scenery of Red Willow Park. It felt like finding a little pocket of calm hidden inside the rhythm of the city. The location was also excellent for restaurants and evening outings. Having Montana’s just about 5 minutes away on foot made for a great evening after a long day. It was too bad that the hot tub was not working during our stay, especially since access to those amenities was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel in the first place. That said, the stay still turned out great overall thanks to the comfort, location, and surrounding atmosphere. We would gladly stay again.

Stayed at the Best Western in St. Albert and honestly I’m not convinced all the guests were alive. The hallway was so quiet at 2am I could hear the ice machine breathing. Took the elevator to the third floor and I’m pretty sure it stopped between dimensions for a second. The lamp in my room flickered exactly when I said “this place kinda feels haunted,” which felt incredibly disrespectful from whatever Victorian ghost was listening. Around midnight I heard footsteps outside my door, opened it dramatically like I was in a horror movie… and it was just someone carrying a bucket of ice looking equally terrified. Beds were unbelievably comfortable though — slept like the dead. 10/10 would survive another night there.
