  - hard to get an early check in even though requested when booked months before. - ATM broken, 1 elevator broken. 1 elevator is not enough when staff were using as well for their tasks. - not enough luggage trolleys -

  A very clean, well appointed property in a convenient location and with easy parking. Also, there's a really nice restaurant right next door. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was very good, staff was professional.

  Shout out to the cleaning staff, y'all are awesome. Also Best Western always has the best beds and pillows.

  Check-in was easy as I had already done it online. I was not aware that the card they place the hold on would be the one charged at checkout. Any hotel I've been to, at checkout they ask what card I would like charged. So I had to change that on checkout. The lady at the desk said it would be a lot of work for her to do, but I told her it was a business trip and needed it on my business card. Luckily the transaction didn't go through already so she didn't have to do as much work as she was expecting. We went to the pool and it was freezing cold. Another family was there, and their child ended up with a nosebleed (poor thing) in the pool. I'm not sure how the pool handles biohazards but I was told maintenance would look into it. The family had her go back into the water to wash up, and she had a reoccurent nosebleed. This pretty much ruined the pool experience for us. The other issue we had was with our room. Our door did not lock when we left our room. I had to leave one of my nieces in the room for security purposes while we went and told the front desk. Luckily the maintenance guy was right there. He was an absolute gem of a human being! He came up to the room, and told us he was going to work on the door. We had food delivered so we needed to go get it. I asked if that was okay, and he agreed. When we came back, he was waiting outside the room to let us know he needed to grab something else to fix the problem, but that he wanted to make sure nobody got into our room, so he had waited for us to get back before moving on to grab what he needed. I appreciated this SO MUCH! He was very trustworthy and very kind. He made a scary experience so much more manageable! Breakfast was a bit odd. So we were told by staff, breakfast ended at 9:30, but the website says 10:30. So I was kind of hoping to let my family sleep in a little bit. I confirmed with staff it was in fact 9:30 it ended, so I had to get the girls up earlier than I would have liked. The food in the breakfast was just okay. The cereal selection of froot loops, rice crispies, raisin bran, and cheerios was disappointing. The pancake machine spat out what looked like half-cooked, pale floppy disks of dough. My niece almost didn't eat hers because they looked so inedible. The bacon is so thin you can see through it. However, it tastes good. When eaten with the eggs, it at least provides some flavor. The eggs were rubbery and cold. The staff kept filling the chafing dishes instead of removing food that had been there for a while. We got the food that had been there for a while and it was not a good experience. Overall, staff were kind, and helpful (even if one of them complained about how much work it would be for them), which helped make up for some of the craziness we had to endure during this trip. My nieces said they never want to come back to Lethbridge because of how bad the hotel experience was for them. We also loved the coffee machine in the lobby. However I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again.

  There was some sort of kid's event was going on while we were staying for our anniversary. It was great at first, then you could hear people yelling and talking in the halls throughout the night. I'm a light sleeper so I didn't sleep well at all from the noise in the hall.. Other than thin doors, the bed was comfy, plenty of pillows and the bathroom was clean. Watching TV was a nightmare.. Fuzzy reception, audio delay and no Netflix. I thought all hotels had it. We won't be returning.
