  If travelling for business without a lot of fuss this is a great place. Rooms are clean and comfortable, hotel is quiet and the restaurant serves a variety of food so that you are able to eat something different each night that is quite tasty. There is a buffet breakfast included that opens at 6am. It is a couple mins from the freeway and multiple restaurants in leduc and the staff are all quite good. After having tried numerous hotels in this chain in the surrounding area this is my favourite.

  We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years. I am hoping this was a one off but it was something that I couldn’t just ignore. 1. Near 8pm on Sunday, my wife phoned the front desk as the vacant room beside them had a loud beeping sensor going off. They didn’t even look into it. They dismissed her call and said “Maintenance is back in tomorrow, call then and hung up”. 😳. Good thing several surrounding room guests met in the hallway to figure it out. Finally someone from the front desk came up. 2. The hot tub was down. I get things require maintenance, but let people know when they call into book. That was part of why we select this hotel. 3. I checked in at the front desk and then left the room for my wife and daughter. I had to use my back up credit card due to fraudulent activity on my other one. I specifically asked for notes to be put on file that we would pay debit upon check out. They said no issues at all. Upon check out they had already ran the charges through on my back up CC. It was super busy at check out so I was asked to come back later. 4. On our previous stay, my wife accidentally left a necklace in the room. It had a lot of sentimental value as that family member has now passed on. She had asked the manager if it was possible to check the lost and found again as it had been a couple months and maybe turned up. The manager ignored her ask and said there was nothing and she was too busy to go and look right now. The lady that checked us in upon arrival was fantastic though. This hotel use to have top notch service. I hope the staff aren’t learning by example from this new manager.

  The room was very clean at check-in. The bathroom had a walk in shower with glass doors. The provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand wash were great. They are in bigger bottles with pumps, which is a nice idea. I only gave 4 stars because there was a small maintenance issue. It probably could have been fixed right away, but I didn't mention it until I was checking out.

  It's a nice enough location. The rooms are what you'd expect from a hotel. It's got the nicest continental breakfast I've ever seen. I've subtracted a star because it was so difficult to book - I specifically wanted a room with a hot tub and the wording on the website said that the room contained a "Whirlpool (T)" and there were no pictures. Apparently they don't have very good phones because the person who answered had to ask me 3-4 times what I was asking for when I stated that I wanted a hot tub in the room. The person I spoke to was going to suggest that they have a hot tub in the pool area, when I confirmed that I wanted a hot tub in my room. When they finally understood what I was asking for, they confirmed that there were no pictures of their suites with hot tubs on their website and then proceeded to confirm for me that they do indeed have rooms with hot tubs and and had one available. I proceeded to book. I've subtracted another star because remembering the encounter has me feeling so flustered. If anyone is curious, the room had a Kohler hot tub. It holds hot water like you'd expect. During the booking I had added on a charcuterie board for the stay. A couple days before my stay, I received a call to confirm what time I'd like to receive it, upon confirming I went about my business. When it came time for the item, nothing came. I waited for a fair time before I started second guessing myself and wondering if, perhaps I had just imagined ordering the item - it didn't show up on my reservation at all. Upon calling the front desk, they said they would send up the item and it did arrive shortly after and was enjoyed. I suppose though, if I order such an item in the future and arrange a time for it, it should be expected that I'll have to call after that time has come and gone in order to receive it. I enjoyed the smart TV that they have installed in the room, although the satellite/cable was unplugged from the TV. I didn't actually use it though since I was able to cast from my phone whatever I wanted. The TV was covered slightly in some kind of residue that apparently had been used by someone attempting to clean it. I spent some time trying to wipe it off with a soft napkin I happened to have.
