  The rooms are tired, could be cleaner, small things like dirty light switch, faucet at the kitchenette sink was literally just"resting" on the countertop, cupboard door hinges loose but all in all location was great, staff lovely. Just needs maintenance

  Great downtown location and friendly staff. However, the room was not as clean as expected, and we found the beds quite hard. Overall, it was an average stay with a convenient location.

  Can’t speak highly enough of the staff and management here. Kind, respectful, and go over and above expectations. I have been very pleased with the internet speed (working from here), and the room is very comfortable.

  I checked in at around 9:00 PM on May 28 and checked out on May 29. I had a very unpleasant experience during check-in at Best Western Plus Suites Downtown. There were other guests checking in ahead of me, and I saw the front desk staff speaking with them normally and giving each of them a bottle of water after check-in. I do not know whether the water was complimentary, but it was clearly being offered to guests. When it was my turn, I was only asked for my ID and handed my room key without any other explanation or conversation. I had to ask why I was not given water like the other guests. The staff member then went to the back, brought out one bottle of water, and placed it on the counter without saying anything. It made me feel very uncomfortable and offended. I could not help wondering whether they assumed I could not speak English, whether they were treating guests differently, or whether this was discrimination. I have stayed at Best Western many times before, but this was the first time I left with such a bad impression. Unless I have no other option, I do not think I will stay at this property again.

  **Update on review: so instead of fixing the air conditioner like they said they would. They gave us a complimentary one bed apartment, for the rest of our stay. Our whole party is unable to be in this room, so one left behind in other room with a fan. We took the one bed, because it allowed us to get a good nights sleep, at least for two. This apartment did have a pull out couch but it looked pretty shady hence the other person stayed behind.*** When we arrived the air conditioner was turned on but the room was super hot. Asked front desk to fix it. The guy on staff tried but didn’t know what to do, he went and brought a fan and the fan didn’t even work. They said maintenance would be back the next day while we sleep in 30 degree heat. The next day came and we were out the full day and no one came to fix it. Went back to the front desk, sent someone else up to tell us what we knew already. They can’t even change the toilet paper roll. This had not been very good stay
