I do not understand why this hotel is rated with only 2 stars - it is far better than quite a few hotels I've stayed in that had more stars. It is VERY clean - the rooms, the pool, the fitness center and the breakfast buffet, everything is very clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great hotel to stay at - I would most certainly recommend it! It's walking distance to Medicine Wheel park and we took a nice walk over.

Upon arrival we are told the hot tub works but not the pool which would’ve been nice to know considering that’s partially why we booked this stop when on a road trip.
Getting to our room we notice our door has this wedge on the outside of it that clearly had to be entered at some point forcibly which is odd you wouldn’t replace or cover that edge of the door. Doors around it look ok so figured it was an anomaly.
Inside on first glance it looked fine. Then our teen comes out from the bathroom who was supposed to be in the shower and said there’s blood on the shower curtain. I go in and pick it up to see, it’s actually a bunch of pink type mold on their inside and outside curtains clearly not getting cleaned well. I’ve never seen it this bad at any hotel EVER.
I go to the bed and within 20 minutes I have a rash on the backside of my hand and arm… only what I had touched the curtain with.
Later I’m on the toilet and I see under the sink on their shelf where our towels are, looks almost like mouse poop. I think it was actually remnants from someone else in there… but nonetheless it’s gross and the shelf should’ve been wiped before guests are there.
This place even had the audacity to have a tip envelope, here’s my tip to them: clean better!
I still have the rash upon leaving the next morning, even my doctor said it was a mold reaction rash. My husband also was coughing and definitely getting a reaction sleeping there. Looks ok at first glance but not healthy to stay there!

Sara greeted us as we walked in. She was friendly and helpful. We asked where we could see fireworks and she recommended a shoot in a nearby town that was really well done.
Our room was a nice size and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only bummer was the humidity in the room and our air conditioner was a little noisy. We still got a good night's sleep.
The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. I was able to use the fitness room, which was nice. We didn't take advantage of the pool this time. Overall, my husband and I had a great experience and would stay here again. Keep up the good work!
