  My first time visiting Indiana and was there to see a band at the casino and then go to Indiana Dunes National Park. I was unaware much of the region was without power and so the hotel was very full with locals. The staff were very busy due to this but friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the fitness center was great, had TV screens in the equipment. I really like Holiday Inn and would absolutely stay here again should I visit the area.

  My boyfriend and I chose this hotel to stay at after celebrating our anniversary in Chicago. We chose this hotel due to most in the city being majorly overpriced and fully occupied because of lalapalooza going on this weekend. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the price was more than reasonable. The woman who’d checked us in was very pleasant, though the one that checked us out was very rude. This hotel has a 2 day minimum policy, apparently. We only needed one night, and when we politely asked to have the second night refunded we were treated like we were stupid. This elderly woman at the desk scoffed and rolled her eyes at us when we asked about this policy, giving us a “Yeah... Obviously.” When we asked if this was true. No..this is not obvious. We stayed just one night at the freehand in Chicago, comfort inn across the street, best western, and Hampton in the area. We’d gotten that second night refunded, but not without an unnecessary amount of animosity. I genuinely don’t understand where that attitude came from, especially coming from an older woman.

  Charged card before we arrived and was suppose to pay at arrival. Wednesday the breakfast was gone and things was clean and the lady kept saying 21 min when we walked in she had been broke it down. We check out and pay cash she said card will be credited in 2 min next day I call about it and the lady says oh no. Basically someone stole the cash and charged the card. I called cooperate she says it happens. They charged it again today

  Great location right off the freeway yet quiet rooms. Lots of restaurants nearby. Elijah at the front desk was excellent at check in and very helpful answering our questions. I would highly recommend this property. UPDATE- I still haven’t received the 6000 points I was led to believe that I would receive for writing a review. I have reached out to the manager multiple times with no response 😖 Picture showing that 6000 bonus points would be added for completing the review.
