  The hotel was nice and it is in a good area right off the freeway. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that one of the elevators was out of order on a weekend when the hotel was full. We waited 5 minutes for the elevator and finally decided to take the stairs down from the 3rd floor. Also, the pool entrance was right next to the elevator so the floor going to the elevator and the floor in the elevator was constantly wet. The hotel did have a large fan drying the floor but it wasn't really helping much. My hats off to the 2 young men who were mopping the floors. Their whole day must have consisted of mopping the floor because each time I saw them that's what they were doing. Aside from the elevator problem and the wet floors it was okay.

  This place is a dump. One of our rooms had stains on the floor, curtains and pull out bed. We had made the reservation weeks ago and they said we could cancel but there were no other rooms available and no other hotels in the area had any either. We decided to stay but will never stay here again and will question any other Holiday Inn from here on out.

  I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone. My parents and I only stayed for one night while our home was under construction, but the overall experience was terrible. The only positive was the hospitality from the staff. As soon as we walked into the room, there was a strong odor. We turned on the air conditioner hoping it would help, but it didn’t make much difference. The bathtub had a ring around it, and there was a glob of old toothpaste left in the sink, which made it obvious the room had not been cleaned properly. Throughout the night, all three of us were itching, especially once we got into bed. The couch also had a large hole in it, and the hotel overall is in desperate need of renovations and better upkeep. The complimentary breakfast was so unappealing that we didn’t eat any of it. My dad was so uncomfortable with the room that he ended up sleeping in his car. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

  This hotel was phenomenal beginning with Jackie and ELIJAH at the front desk! They were very helpful and kind each interaction we had. In addition every staff member was amicable and extremely professional. We will be looking forward to staying at this hotel again when we travel to Northwest Indiana, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

  House keeping stole from me! Told the desk they said that house keeping said they didnt take it but here I am without my stuff. Tried calling the corporate number but the guy just hung up on me instead of transferring. I stay at ihgs all the time and this has been handsdown the worst experience I've had with them.
