I got my internet and at purchase they said technician installation is free but it will take time rather self installation is quick. I got eero n tried to get it worked 1-2 hours n called customer support twice. Customer support was not helpful at all - resolution I got from them was ur installation needs technician- pay got technician and that they are available 7 days down the line. Very very frustrating experience.

I was told by internet would be $50 a month the first month I was charged $75 for installation fee, the second month I was charged $60 then I notices the third month and fourth month I was charged a ridiculous $140 these guys are criminal and don't honor the prices that they say they're going to they will lie and jack up the price. I would highly recommend staying away from astound broadband.

I was upset that for my 1-5pm appointment time slot I got an automated call at 3:41pm that said they were on the way. Around 4:30pm I called in to ask what happened and all I was told was it shows they are still on the way. At about 5-10mins til 5pm two guys finally showed up at my door. They were nice and one looked like he was being trained so I can give some grace that with traffic and training it took awhile but I would have appreciated more communication so I didn't have to be blindly waiting for 4 hours. I could have gone out earlier and did things before rush hour traffic and came back here at 4:30pm if it would have been communicated that there would be a automated call to give a heads up and that the head ups could still be an hour before that arrive. The workers themselves were nice and helpful once here but leading up to it was pretty upsetting.

Just had Luke from Astound come for maintenence at our apartment. Luke is the ONLY reason I am leaving any stars at all! I would give him 5 stars if this review was for Luke alone, however, the customer service over the phone was absolutely horrible. Please upgrade your over the phone services' microphones to be at least audible. On top of the horrible attitude, whoever helped us on the phone said "Remember me?" when contacting us again to update us on our bill, as if to egg my partner and I on over the phone. So unprofessional and wish I remembered his name to send in a proper complaint. Again, Luke was AMAZING in helping us!! 5 stars for Luke, absolutely NONE for Astound over the phone support. Thank you, Luke!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Astound Broadband. I applied for their Internet First - Affordable Internet plan, which clearly advertises: first month free, $9.95/month, free installation, and free equipment. My service was installed on April 29, 2026. However, shortly after installation, I discovered that I was being charged an additional - $5.10/month for a “special router”, something that was NEVER disclosed to me beforehand. No one informed me during sign-up. No one mentioned it during installation. And I could not find any clear information about this extra charge on their website. This feels extremely misleading. You sign up for one plan, do not agree to any extras, and yet they install additional equipment and bill you for it anyway. When I contacted customer support, the response was basically: “Return the router and use your own, or pay for it.” No accountability, no explanation, no attempt to resolve the issue. I also spoke with a manager, and it was the same experience - they were not willing to acknowledge the problem or even listen. This is not acceptable. If there are required extra charges, they must be clearly disclosed upfront - not added later without consent. Very disappointing and feels dishonest. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
