    You may NOT get the GIFT CARD from the sign up promotion. It has been 4 months since I signed up. I have called Astound Broadband at least 4 times, and at least 3 tickets were created. I have called Astound Rewards at least 4 times. Astound Rewards says they never received any of the tickets created. NOTE Astound Broadband and Reward are two separate entities. I was told they are not allowed to talk to each other directly and their systems do not communicate with each other. Sounds like a big joke since Astound is a communications company. Oh, and they are not 'allowed' to give me a credit on my bill instead of I need to keep going in circles. After many wasted hours on the phone and promised resolution, I give up. You won Astound. Maybe I have terrible luck to not get the gift card. But maybe, you too will have the bad luck of NOT getting what you were promised.

    Customer service on phone gives 900 Lenora st. Its actually 2220 Lenora. The address given is a block long high-rise condo bldg. Entrance to Astound store is in parking lot small strip mall. I walked in and was almost given wrong modem/router. I needed landline capability. Was told only home service truck technicians had those. So I took incorrect box to be able to watch tv & stream. Have appt Thursday to again swap for correct box

    Each month my bill is different (usually over, never under) and their explanation is absolutely absurd and makes no sense. I get terrible cell reception but the internet is good. Just wish they’d be consistent and easier to get ahold of given all the times I have to check in. It’s absurd.

    Where internet connections go to die. WaveG wasn't perfect, but once Astound took over they raised my bill significantly to $100/mo for 1G, and the service got very significantly worse. I lose internet on a roughly weekly basis sometimes for 10 minutes sometimes for days. If you need to talk to a human you might have to tell their chat bot to kill itself first. And their human representatives are perfectly nice people with no information and no ability to help and there is no escalation path to get answers. I'm a lead software engineer - which is to say I would have solved my internet problems if it was an issue on my end, their service just sucks.

    I called Astound wave about 90 times from Jan 2026 to March 2026. They messed up my profile and put me in as a new customer instead of existing customer who is moving to a new place because of that i could keep the phone and cable bundle deal that i loved. My price was doubled and no one fixed the issue. I spoke with about 14 Astound managers from different states, each and every one of them told me that they would give me a call back the next day but all 14 of them never did! Not one of the managers got back to me and the longest call I had with a manager was over 3 hours. I wanted to speak to someone that would be able to change the monthly price because Astound had messed up my profile and wanted to see what upper management would do. Never got contacted by anyone and I also got hung up on a few times too. I switched to Ziply Fiber and i realized that I wasted so much time with Astound. I will never go back to Astound wave and i tell people whenever I can to not use Astound services and after I tell them my story they go with Ziply Fiber or Xfinity. Astound's customer service is so bad that I thought they were not trained. I feel like they just hire people and put them on the phones without actually teaching them basic things. Every time I called Astound the rep that I was talking to would always tell me that the previous Astound rep was wrong. They all say that the other rep is wrong but after about three months, I found out they all dont know what theyre doing. They never got me connected with the person who can make things right, 14 separate managers couldn't get it right or call me back the next day. Not one was competent and I can't believe they operate this way. Ziply Fiber has true internet speeds that actually match what they say youre getting. Astound wave gives you less than what youre playing for (1gb is actually only around 880mbs). Ziply Fiber is better than Astound and I will tell everyone that I come across my story. The story is basically how Astound wave has a bunch of people with an IQ of 90 working their phones with no training. I hope Astound Wave goes out of business soon. Ziply Fiber all the way!
