  I have phone and internet service from Astound broadband. Both of my services went down on 9/5/26. In spite of a dozen calls to the customer service, technician visit is scheduled for 9/10/26. I am sure company will post a response that the technician tried to reach me. It is NOT true. I was never called. In fact there were multiple automated messages saying that technician is on the way. I called multiple times and informed customer support that I am waiting for the technician at home. Very poor service. Update on Sunday: The company got its acts together and sent a technician on Sunday. The technician was good and has done good job. Job not complete yet. But sure moving in the right direction.

  Our business is a restaurant located at a commercial address. However, we have experienced three separate internet service outages within the past week. During these outages, we are unable to receive new orders, process transactions, or even operate our restaurant normally. We have already lost a significant amount of money because of these repeated service interruptions. Your technicians keep coming out to repair the problem, but the same issue happens again and again. You repair it, it breaks again, and yet your company continues to refuse to replace the equipment with new equipment. This situation is completely unacceptable. I honestly don’t know if your company is going out of business, but the quality of your service has become absolutely terrible. If we experience even one more internet service outage, I will terminate our service with your company and switch to another provider. We cannot continue operating a restaurant under these conditions.

  Astound is an absolute trash company. Do not get internet with them. The service is completely unreliable. Constantly going out. On top of that, when I called last night to get it fixed they tried to tell me that I was past due on the internet bill, by 240$ saying that I didn't pay for June or July. An absolute lie as I have the bank statements to prove it. A bunch of crooks. For those with the service, I recommend watching very closely because if they ripped me off without batting an eye, they will rip you off too.

  Terrible experience, terrible internet, terrible customer service, would NEVER recommend them to anyone Here’s why: We only had Astound for 2 months, during which time we paid the initial bill in full. They told us when we bought it that when we were done with the service to return the router and equipment which we did. We called and cancelled before our renewal date and returned the equipment. We confirmed in person at their Odessa location that our account was paid and we didn’t owe anything. Come to find out a year later they didn’t notify us of a remaining bill of $50 still left that had been sent to collections. We got NO EMAIL, NO CALL, NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER from them to notify us of the bill. We would have been happy to pay it but I’m just now finding out about it a year later because I went to check my wife’s credit history. Their customer service line was classic third party call center that doesn’t speak English, was rude and extremely unprofessional. We’ve never missed a bill in our lives and have worked hard to get high 780-800 credit scores only to have a sleazy company like this make no effort to communicate and take care of their customers in the 120 day period. Shame on these guys. I wish zero stars existed, extremely unprofessional company.
