  I canceled my service with Astound after only a couple of days because the internet constantly lagged and was unreliable. During the installation, I specifically told the technician that I was only testing Astound and was not canceling my AT&T service. Despite that, he removed my existing AT&T installation and connected Astound using equipment he should not have used. As a result, I had to pay AT&T $150 to come out and restore what the Astound technician had removed. I spoke with Eli, who told me not to contact customer service because he would personally look into resolving the issue. After waiting, he eventually told me there was nothing he could do. Not only was the internet service poor, but the company also refused to take responsibility for the damage caused during the installation. Instead of saving money by switching providers, I ended up paying an extra $150 to fix a problem their technician created. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Astound due to both the unreliable service and the lack of customer support when issues arise.

  Horrible WiFi, they send “techs” out who have no clue what they’re doing. Refuse to acknowledge that their equipment on their pole is what’s causing our wifi to have packet loss. Been like this for almost a year now. All of a sudden, after writing this review, the routers Ethernet ports don’t work. Lmao. Horrible

  I do not recommend Astound Internet. The service is extremely unreliable, with frequent internet disruptions and outages that happen far too often. For the price they charge, I expected a stable and dependable connection, but that has not been my experience. The service is overpriced for the quality provided. Nothing is more frustrating than losing internet in the middle of work, streaming, or important online activities. Customer support has not done enough to address the recurring issues, and the interruptions continue. If you're looking for a reliable internet provider, I would suggest exploring other options before committing to Astound. Unfortunately, the service simply does not deliver the value or reliability that customers are paying for.
