I chose not to move forward with this company after my initial interaction, and after reading other reviews, I feel reassured in that decision. As a small business owner managing two businesses and raising a family, my time is valuable. I spent over an hour on the phone with a sales representative trying to get straightforward information about pricing, but instead of receiving a clear answer, the conversation continually shifted back to explanations about the value of their service and repeated sales pitches. I repeatedly asked for simple pricing information so I could make an informed decision. I understand sales is part of business, but the overall experience felt overly pushy and unnecessarily time-consuming. Unfortunately, when I became frustrated with how long it was taking to get direct answers, the interaction also became unprofessional. In my opinion, companies should be transparent about pricing and respectful of potential customers’ time from the beginning. I would encourage others to do their research carefully and consider supporting trusted local businesses instead.

I recently engaged Townhall Media for advertising services for Midland Coatings LLC in Nampa, Idaho. On February 16, 2026, I initially inquired about a straightforward radio advertising campaign. Instead of delivering a simple, targeted radio buy, they strongly recommended — and ultimately sold me — a much larger comprehensive package that included building a new website, ongoing radio advertising, targeted internet ads, and search engine optimization. The agreement came with monthly advertising fees of $2,696.26 plus an additional $350 for the website build. This represented a significant investment for our company. Results: zero. Not a single phone call. Not a single qualified lead. No measurable increase in website traffic or inquiries that could be attributed to their efforts. The return on investment has been exactly $0.00. Townhall Media overpromised and severely underdelivered. They took what should have been a modest test of radio advertising and expanded it into a high-cost commitment without delivering any tangible business outcomes. The lack of performance is particularly concerning given the substantial monthly spend. I strongly caution other small business owners in the Treasure Valley and beyond: approach Townhall Media with extreme skepticism. If you are considering their services, demand clear, measurable performance metrics and proof of results before signing any contract. In my experience, their sales approach was aggressive and their execution was ineffective. I will not be continuing with Townhall Media and am actively seeking alternative marketing partners who can actually deliver results. — Bill, Midland Coatings LLC, Nampa, Idaho

A couple of years ago I moved my website management from Olly Olly to Townsquare Interactive and it has proven to be a good decision. Townsquare created a professional website, maximized my Google presence and my internet business traffic has increased significantly and generated bonus income. The Townsquare reps are very professional, responsive, creative and knowledgeable about their business. I have been very pleased with their services!

I tried to cancel my service last month, but one of their employees convinced me to stay with promises that things would improve. My billing renews on the 10th of every month, so I stayed and paid another $250 based on what they told me. Unfortunately, nothing changed. I received little to no leads, and my business was not even properly listed on Google like they promised. The only time they seemed interested in helping was when I called to cancel. After that, it was excuse after excuse with no real results. So far, I have paid them around $1,750 and only received one possible job lead — and that may not even turn into a contract. In my experience, they overpromise and underdeliver. The professionalism of the staff has been very disappointing, and I feel like the main goal was simply to keep taking payments. They promise to make you “number one on Google,” but I personally saw zero real results. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save your money, time, and frustration.

STOP & READ THIS. Avoid this company like a plague. They’re scammers who lie to you to get you sign up, sounding great on the phone, but those reviews across every platform like BBB, Yelp, Glassdoor, trust pilot, even on Reddit, are true. They don’t refund or let you out of 6 month agreement. $400 a month for nothing. I found the bad reviews just a week after signing before my onboarding call, and asked for references from satisfied clients, since they claim to have 25,000, they refused. “Said they’re not going to reach out to their client & bother them in the middle of a workday for references,” I asked even just to send an email asking if I could reach out to them, but no. It was clear they’re hiding something. Then they also said the bad reviews on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp are there because they don’t pay them to get rid of them??? Lying again. The second you question them, their reviews online, or doubt their services it’s like a flip of switch with customer service. They just argue with you about all the reviews online saying they’re all fake. They refuse to provide references. They use Duda instead of Wordpress claiming it’s superior, it’s not. Something in my gut said to beware of this company. I’m sure glad I was right. Do not sign with them unless you don’t value your business
