  Was assured that everything was fine, address had no issues and that if I wanted to do the self install kit that would be the simplest quickest way to get up and running, that or spend 100 bucks for a tech to come out in 4-5 days Followed all the directions, light blinked for almost 2 hours still no connection Contacted chat support, got a hold of a "technician" ( basically someone who just tells you to unplug and plug it back in) Then he proceeded to tell me that eh your screwed basically you need to pay 100 for a tech to come out and his words were. "Had you chosen professional instal from the start there would have been no charge and it would have been free but since you chose the self start kit there now will be a 100 fee to have them come out" which totally contradicted what I was told in the store that there was a fee regardless. Cox is absolute crap, running on dinosaur tech that barely keeps up with the smaller companies around my area that at least offer symmetrical fiber Internet, but of course I had to move into a building that's contracted through this god awful company that wouldn't know how to spot a red flag if you smacked them in the face with it repeatedly. If you have other options please save yourself the trouble and go with someone else.

  Cox is way overpriced service and their staff is friendly until you tell them you're cancelling service.

  Our internet goes out almost everyday. I get the same thing from them. Apologies but no action. Then it happens again the next day. Also no offer of a refund or credit. They are terrible.

  HORRIBLE. I just called cox today, our wifi has been out for 48 hours no outage no damage to the box. Weve done all the trouble shooting steps per the app. The immature girl who picked up the phone picked it up laughing, which is very unprofessional. Then after asking why I have to pay more for a technician to come out than I pay monthly, she held the phone away from her ear and tried talking. I could clearly hear the people in the background but not her. When I asked her to speak up she told me I could get future technician appts waived by paying $10 more per month. And then proceeded to ask me to pay more per month. Immature employees, very childish, unhelpful, and rude. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone. Save your money and time and find a much better company.

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Met me at the door and asked how he could help and quickly took care of my need.
