  Decent course good price, staff was rude and unaccommodating. Game warden was talking about piece of play before my group even hit a single shot. Hard to fathom how miserable one has to be to hound a group of college students spending money for a good round of golf. Really beyond me how they treat a group of 20 year olds looking to work on their game at a cheap, bottom of the barrel, public course. Patronizing and disrespectful staff not deserving of anything past 1 star.

  The staff is very helpful in the courses in good condition the greens are a little slow it was a little wet out and it was a very nice experience

  I played in a "Captain's Choice" golf tournament yesterday on Saturday June 27th at Algonkian Golf Course. This tournament was formatted and run extremely well. As a golfer I hate playing long rounds of golf but with their format (no mulligans) we played this round under 4 hours. It was a 9:00 A.M shot gun with a full field and when we were done by 12:15, they had a full buffet of food that was delicious. High praise to management specifically to Parker Derflinger.
