  I've wanted a Trek bike for years and spent countless hours doing my own research before making a purchase. I joined cycling groups, read reviews, watched videos, and even used AI to better understand how important bike size, fit, and model selection are. After all that research, I was convinced I knew exactly which bike I wanted and was even considering buying a used one on Marketplace since cycling isn't typically one of my main hobbies. I'm so glad I didn't. I decided to visit Trek Leesburg to get professionally fitted and better understand what would work best for me. Despite everything I had learned on my own, I quickly realized I was wrong about both the size and the bike I thought was perfect for me. Thanks to the expertise, patience, and guidance of Alex, Alec, and Phil, I was able to test ride several different bikes and find the one that truly fit my needs. The entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Not only did they help me find the perfect bike, but they also helped me stay within my budget while making sure I had all the necessary safety equipment and accessories. At no point did I feel pressured. Instead, I felt educated, supported, and confident in my decision. I couldn't be happier with my purchase or my experience at Trek Leesburg.   I had a Madone back in the Lance era and since have built a series of my own bikes from frames and most recently had the first generation of GT Grade when gravel bikes were first coming on the scene. This is a really nice, well lighted, clean bike store. I've had them do maintenance on my bike when I don't feel like doing it. Great people, had them setup my gravel bike before a Loudoun Gravel Grinder a few years ago. Recently, have been looking to upgrade to a new bike and they had a great deal on Domane Carbon SL b/c they are changing the design. This would be my first Carbon bike since the Madone and my first bike with hydraulic brakes. I tried a 58 which is what my gravel bike was and they had to slam the seatpost to the bottom for it to fit right for me. It made a clunking noise when I went over bumps on my test ride that another Trek dealer said was b/c they should have swapped a shortened seatpost ($250 extra I found out from another dealer). They followed up the next day to see if I had any questions. The bike was on sale for $2500 (down from $3800), I ended up deciding to try the higher model with DI2/carbon wheels at another store in a 56.
