  I did one lesson per week this summer for 10 weeks with PK and he brought my score down 10 strokes. The technology is impressive and the people are great. Highly recommend!

  I had two fittings at golfTec. While the fitting was relatively smooth, the delivery of the clubs was a major disappointment. The first time, they mistakenly shipped the clubs with the wrong grip. The second time, they shipped them with the wrong shafts. In both cases, they blamed the manufacturers. They called me to pick up the clubs, but they failed to notice the mistake in the order, which caused a significant delay in receiving my clubs.

  If you’re on the fence about getting golf lessons, do it, and ask for Paul “PK” Kim at GOLFTEC Herdon, VA! I came in as a 100% beginner who had never really played golf before, and within just a few training sessions, PK had already fixed the major flaws in my swing and helped me start making consistent contact with the ball. He has a great way of breaking everything down so it’s easy to understand, while still making every lesson challenging and fun. One of my favorite things is how he keeps the sessions engaging by giving me little challenges and goals to accomplish before the lesson ends. It keeps the pressure on in a fun way and makes every session feel rewarding. PK also went above and beyond when it came to fitting my clubs. We tested multiple iron brands, different shaft stiffnesses, and various grip options until we found the perfect setup for my swing. That attention to detail made a huge difference in both my confidence and consistency. Now we’re working on my short game, including chipping and pitching, and I’m seeing improvement there too. It’s amazing how much progress I’ve made in just three months. I enjoy the game so much that I’m practicing twice a week outside of my coaching sessions because I genuinely want to keep improving. Golf has quickly become one of my favorite hobbies, and a big part of that is thanks to PK. I’m excited to see where my game will be in another few months. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable coach who knows how to teach, motivate, and make learning enjoyable, I couldn’t recommend PK at GOLFTEC more highly!
