- WLWayne LeeJun 10, 20265.0My bike stopped shifting into the largest rear cog during my last ride, which made climbing a bit more challenging, and the chain was making weird noises in certain gear combinations. I called several bike shops in the area to see if anyone could take a look, but every one of them told me they were backed up for at least a week or two. When I called this shop, Danny said they were in a similar situation but encouraged me to bring the bike by anyway in case it was something they could fix quickly. So I did. As soon as I walked in, John made time for me and immediately started troubleshooting the issue. He spent a good 15 minutes adjusting the limit screws and barrel adjuster before finally declaring victory. He told me to bring the bike back if the problem returned. And when I got ready to pay for the service, John refused to charge me anything. Who does that these days? Knowing how difficult it is to find a bike shop that genuinely prioritizes their customers over a quick buck these days, this level of service really stood out. I think I just found my new go-to bike shop.
