  This is a good store , but their parking lot is so so so awful. Unfortunately , I have gone in there about three times and each time I have scraped the bottom of my car just trying to get out of their parking lot. The potholes are so large, the it's nearly impossible to avoid them.And my car has falls. I will never go to this store again.

  I went in to try on some Oboz trail shoes, since I wasn't sure of my size. Israel went back and forth to help find me what I needed and was extremely helpful. I would definitely go back. Good selection of shoes and great employees. Thank you!

  This store has TO DO BETTER! Racists and Classists. These employees are judgmental and we felt discriminated against because we are Hispanic and were speaking in Spanish. An employee started following us around the Store and approached us to ask if he could help us out with something, and I thought it was normal. Later on saw him following us around the whole time we were there and starring at me and standing near me while i tried jackets on. Giving us dirty looks and judging. You need to relax and be respectful and at least have the decency of dissimulating your biases. Little did you know that the couple that you were stalking and harassing are to professionals who both have master’s degrees and work in tech. And they weren’t doing anything wrong. DO BETTER!!! We felt discriminated against and uncomfortable and harassed while shopping at the store.

  I have been buying camping and biking gear from REI since the 1970s. They have always come through with first class equipment and excellent service. You can’t do better for outdoor equipment.

  Become a member, its easy. Why REI? For me its about the customer service they provide. You buy a pair of shoes realize they aren't for you , size, design.... You can return or exchange them. Purchase a backpack and it doesn't function like you expected, take it back and exchange it. If you are an outdoor person or you enjoy it vicariously, there are plenty of options here to set you up. The point is, in my experience is, they provide great customer service and help you work through any issues you might have with the kit you purchase for your adventures. If you have an adventure coming up and are not sure what you might need, they are very happy to walk you through some choices or share their experience to help you.
