- TLTyler LippsJul 2, 20265.0Played the George Fazio Course today, and despite the hot weather, the course was in excellent condition. The fairways and tee boxes were well maintained, and everything looked lush. The greens were definitely on the slower side, but they were healthy, rolled true, and held a consistent line all day. The layout is fun and provides a good challenge without being overly punishing. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to play golf on Hilton Head.

- RDR. Douglas DeNardoJun 22, 20262.0Not a great experience. We left after 9 holes. Group ahead of us could not play golf. 2 per cart and shared a bag of clubs. After 3 holes they had 2 holes open in front of them. Not a ranger in sight to move them along. Finally on 10th hole, a ranger came speeding by and we tried to get his attention. He was never going to win Mr Congeniality.... not even in Alcatraz. We turned around and left the grounds. Fairways were in good shape. Tee boxes were hard sand with 3 or 4 blades of grass mixed in. Greens were slow but understandable as they pushed them 4 weeks ago. Either go play somewhere else or just burn a couple $100 bills in the parking lot for entertainment. That's about all the experience deserves.
- RVRandy VighJun 16, 20265.0My favorite Palmetto Dunes course on Hilton Head. Elevated zoysia greens and pretty wide open and forgiving and scenic. Plays long for yardage because its a par 70. Greens roll better in the winter and cooler seasons but still very smooth
