I had a great experience at Hilton Head National. I played an early Saturday morning round and paid $160, which included a bag of range balls. The course was in fantastic shape, and the greens rolled really well—not too fast, not too slow. The cart girl came around enough, and the GPS carts were modern with GPS.
Honestly, I can’t think of much to complain about. If I had to nitpick, the pro shop merchandise was a little overpriced, but that’s pretty standard at most golf courses. I’d definitely play here again.

I think the best course in the Bluffton Hilton Head area. The staff is always friendly and the courses in great condition you play in 4 hours easily.

I wanted to leave a review because families with young kids should know how welcoming this course is.
I brought my 6-year-old son, who is completely new to golf, and we had a fantastic experience. Before we even started, I mentioned that I didn't want to hold anyone up, and every ranger we spoke with was incredibly kind and reassuring. They all basically told us not to worry about the pace and to just enjoy ourselves.
As a parent introducing a child to the game, that meant a lot. There was no feeling of being rushed or pressured. Instead, they made it clear that they wanted my son to have a fun first experience with golf.
The course was in great condition, the staff was friendly, and the rangers deserve special recognition for how welcoming they were to beginners and young golfers. If you've been hesitant to bring your kids because you're worried about slowing things down, I can honestly say this is a great place to start.
We'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for helping make my son's introduction to golf such a positive memory.

Played here many times and always enjoy it here. It’s right off the island in Bluffton, which makes it super convenient to hit on your way in or out of Hilton Head.
The biggest selling point? Zero houses on the course! It’s so refreshing to play a Lowcountry layout where you're surrounded by trees and marsh instead of someone’s backyard patio. The fairways are pretty wide and forgiving off the tee, but the greens are tiny and tricky, so your iron play needs to be on
