As grandparents of a 6½-year-old climber we want to express how grateful we are for CRG. It’s such a special place for kids to climb, whether with a class, a friend, or alongside their parents.
All of the coaches have been incredible teachers, mentors, and sources of encouragement for our granddaughter, who was completely new to climbing when she started. Watching her grow into a more confident climber — and a more confident person overall — has been a joy. She immediately gravitated to Coach Luke, whose patience, kindness, and constant encouragement have made a lasting impact on her experience. He always knows when to cheer her on and help her believe in herself.
What means the most to us is how CRG has helped shape her attitude toward trying new and challenging things. She now approaches unfamiliar experiences with much more confidence and resilience, and that is truly invaluable for any child. We are so thankful to CRG and highly recommend it to families looking for a positive, supportive environment for their kids. We’re delighted that our family has found CRG and made it part of their weekly routine!

Today I visited CRG Troy for the first time to watch my niece climb. Beautiful facilities, and the whole staff was hardworking, professional, a kind. Shout out to Luke in particular, who was working with all the little kids and helping them build confidence in the sport. He was patient, encouraging, and supportive in every way - a natural teacher who listens to children and respects their limits while teaching them to push themselves to new heights. My niece was so happy and so confident, and all of this had to do with the incredible staff at this gym

As both the parent of a young climber and a newer adult climber myself, I can’t say enough positive things about CRG. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely encouraging for every age and skill level.
What has impressed me most is the incredible sense of community they’ve created. CRG has become a place where we’ve made real friendships beyond climbing. There’s something really special about walking into a space that is both motivating and genuinely supportive, where climbers of all ages encourage one another and celebrate each other’s progress.
My daughter has participated in classes and camps, and every experience has been extremely positive. The coaches do such a wonderful job encouraging the kids not only to challenge themselves, but to support each other as well. They push my daughter in all the right ways, helping her build confidence and skills both on and off the wall — determination, problem solving, critical thinking, and learning how to work through challenges. She wants to climb every single day, and that’s a direct reflection of the environment the coaches have created.
The staff at CRG are truly exceptional. They are patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and create the kind of environment every parent hopes their child will be part of, one that builds confidence, resilience, kindness, and community. We feel incredibly lucky to have found CRG.
Thank you to coaches Savannah, Luke, Raf, Devan, Cooper, Finn, and the entire CRG team!

This place is IMMACULATE.
I met the staff and they gave me the most positive experience. Savannah, Alex, and Mai were all working at CRG when they literally became my FRIENDS.
Like, it's not often that you go to a public space as an adult and just make friends??
I would highly recommend taking classes with the staff and really getting to know the place. These people make you feel like family. ❤️❤️❤️
