  Our son had a wonderful time at Camps ‘R’ Us Bellmore! He looked forward to camp every day and came home happy and excited. The counselors were wonderful, the activities were fun, and we felt great knowing he was in such a caring environment. We highly recommend Camps ‘R’ Us Bellmore!

  This camp is probably great if your child doesn’t need any extra support. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience. We disclosed our son’s ADHD on all the required medical forms before camp started. After only two days, he was dismissed because of behavioral outbursts. During the meeting, we were told they don’t accept children who receive a 1:1 aide at school because they don’t have enough staff to support them. My husband and I left that meeting believing we would receive a full refund. Instead, it took almost 3 weeks to get the refund. We paid $4,223 for a 6-week camp, but only received $3,536 because they charged us the individual daily rate for the two days he attended. Getting answers was frustrating. We were promised follow-up calls that never came, and every time I called, it felt like I was bothering them. The hardest part was being dismissed in the middle of the summer with almost no time to find another camp. As working parents, that put us in a really difficult position. Overall, the lack of communication and transparency was incredibly disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this camp based on our experience.

  This is our second year at the camp and already looking forward to the next one. We absolutely love this camp. The planning and communication for events and trips is always great. The apps make everything super easy to navigate starting from registration to payments including tagged pictures of your kid having fun to make your day brighter. My daughter has fun things to look forward to everyday, the staff is very loving and caring and she has made so many close friends. She is busy all time at the camp with wonderful activities and proudly brings home cool art and science projects she has done. By the end of camp her room gets filled with stuffed toys and prizes she has either made or won at the carnival. When your kid makes sure that you have already registered her for the next year then you know you have found their happy camp :).
