- MEMark EisensmithJun 24, 20262.0If I hadn’t paid for the summer league, I wouldn’t go back. Short staffed Every week. If the manager realized that they had one more or two more people working for five different jobs he could sell a lot more food and a lot more drinks. It’s a no-brainer. Wouldn’t recommend especially not the summer league. They have one person running the counter, servicing the lanes, running the bar and running the kitchen? Highly do not recommend. Then you’re gonna say we’d like to learn more so we can improve it’s over and over and over again start putting more than one person in there. That’s how you can improve. Don’t bother responding.
- JMJesse MuszynskiMay 24, 20262.0Went bowling with a party of 12 on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend during their Night Strike 6pm-9pm special which is $19.99 for three hrs of bowling including shoe rentals. Front desk worker David was very helpful both on the phone and at the alley. It was not super busy when we arrived. This is where the good news ends. Unfortunately 30 minutes into our games we decided to order 3 pizzas, a burger and chicken fingers along with pitchers of beer and pop. David let us know he was the only one working, which was odd because there was at least 2 other workers there, one of which who helped us when we had an issue with the pin setter. We waited over an hour for our first pizza to come and it was delivered with no plates. We had to beg them to bring our pitchers of pop and beer. Our kids were so hungry they were getting cranky and complaining they wanted to be done. We repeatedly went to the counter asking where our food was, to which we were told it's only 5 more minutes. There was another lane that arrived after us and got their food first. Other lanes were also clearly waiting for food and upset. After an hour and a half our other two pizzas arrived, one of them wrong (pepperoni instead of cheese). Finally after 2 hours our burger and tenders arrived. All the employees could do was apologize for the wait and after we insisted gave us another pitcher of beer. First pizza was cold by the time we were able to get plates for it. I'm not sure why only 1 of the 3 employees was able to run the front desk and kitchen. Clearly they need to cross train. Eventually we got out of them that they sent the kitchen staff home early because it was slow; completely unacceptable on a holiday weekend forecast to be a rainy evening. Additional, both bathrooms had unpleasant odors to the point the kids were complaining and I was grossed out.

Come to find out they asked to have the kitchen to go home, on Memorial Day weekend… he even told us (one man down) to focus on the front desk and run the kitchen as he told us our food will be ready in 5 min. We had to check on where is our food periodically in the 2 hours. When our pizzas arrived, our cheeseburger wasn’t made- he forgot and turned off the stove… we waited another time.. I have been supporting amf in different locations and NEVER had this issue. Very disappointing 😔

So 2 hours. Never was offered anything. Not the customer fault you let you staff go home early. At the point you sent the kitchen staff home you should have told the customers to bring in their own food. Doordash or uber eats hell a local pizza joint to deliver. Spending over $240 on bowling and another $150 on food. We will never visit AMF Lancaster lanes again 😌
