  Tried to return a perfectly fine item and was denied by chris the manager who was very rude. Will be using the rest of my gift card and never shopping here again

  Very busy. Hard to find what I was looking for but I finally found it by wondering around the store. Could not find an employee to ask.

  I had such an outstanding experience at REI Carle Place finding running sneakers. My narrow foot made it nearly impossible to find a proper fit, until 90+ minutes later, after receiving help from Jane, Rich, and Faraz (all because of shift changes during lunch hours and the store was busy, as well), I left the store wearing my new On Clouds and new wool socks. I wasn't even in the market for a pair of sneakers, but the way in which the shoe section is organized, each area designated by signage naming the below shoes' specialty, I said, "Oh, it would be great to find a supportive running shoe." Which is just what I accomplished. Thank you three for your outstanding patience and drive to get me in a pair of sneakers I absolutely love. I ended up with the Cloudrunner 3, and I have been home for four hours now and I still don't want to take them off. A completely bizarre behavior for me, since I am always more than happy to take my shoes off the moment I return home. Amazing, amazing service at REI Carle Place! Thank you Jane, Rich, and Faraz for profoundly improving my feet's experiences! Also, there is a spacious parking lot at this location. Looking forward to returning, soon!
