Oscar at 702 Range provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. He helped us during our shooting session and guided us through our CCW class with professionalism, patience, and a great attitude. One thing that really stood out was that he’s bilingual. Since Spanish is my wife’s first language, he was able to explain everything clearly in Spanish, which made her feel comfortable, confident, and included throughout the entire experience. He answered all of our questions, emphasized safety, and provided exceptional customer service. We highly recommend asking for Oscar if you’re visiting 702 Range

I have been shooting for 55 years, I have shot at well over 100 ranges all around the USA and this is definitely one of the worst ranges I have ever been to. They have ZERO noise dampening on the firing line. A 9mm sounds like a 300 win mag. The biggest gun tha I shoot is a Barret 50bmg and my ear protection has always been more than adequate, but on this range it is so loud it was useless. 5 minute and I had a pounding headache. There were at least 10 people in the waiting room waiting to shoot yet 3 of the stations next to me were empty most of the time, and they were shooting pistol too, so they should have had a spot. The staff was very friendly and courteous, but the range is a joke. I will never go here or bring anyone here again.

Review of the Range 702 CCW Class and Firing Safety Training I recently attended the CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) class at Range 702 on Sunday, June 28, and I am pleased to share my experience. Overall, the training was comprehensive and effective, providing essential knowledge about Nevada's concealed carry laws, which is particularly beneficial for someone like me, a California resident seeking to obtain a CCW in Nevada. Key Highlights - **Comprehensive Curriculum**: The class offered clear and concise training on Nevada's concealed carry laws. This is critical for understanding the responsibilities and legal implications of carrying a concealed weapon. - **Application Support**: One of the standout features was the assistance provided for submitting my application to the Metropolitan Las Vegas Police Department. The instructors walked us through the process step-by-step, ensuring that I felt confident in completing my application correctly. - **Engaging Instructors**: Casey and Jeff were outstanding instructors. They not only conveyed the material effectively but also made the learning environment enjoyable. Their light-hearted banter added an element of fun to the class, while still maintaining a respectful atmosphere. This balance of professionalism and humor made the experience memorable. - **Value for Money**: Considering the level of training and support provided, I found the program to be well worth the investment. I left feeling informed and prepared to carry responsibly. Areas for Improvement While my overall experience was positive, I did encounter a few concerns regarding the staff dynamics. There was a female employee, who appeared to be of Asian descent, whose demeanor was less than welcoming. During the check-in process, she did not greet attendees warmly and seemed somewhat upset. Additionally, I observed her interacting with Jeff in a manner that I felt was unprofessional; she pointed at him and gestured for him to come over in a way that felt disrespectful. It may be beneficial for the organization to provide training in interpersonal skills to enhance the customer service experience. Positive interactions from all staff members can significantly contribute to the overall atmosphere of the training environment. Conclusion In summary, the CCW class at Range 702 offers an excellent training program that effectively prepares participants to carry a concealed weapon legally and responsibly. The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging, making the class both informative and enjoyable. Despite a minor issue with one staff member's demeanor, I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in obtaining a CCW in Nevada. It is a worthwhile investment that equips you with the necessary skills and understanding to navigate concealed carry laws effectively.

I live in Texas, and my coworkers and I were in town for InfoComm 2026. We were greeted with great hospitality by Hailey—just like the hospitality we see back home! We wanted to shoot the Barrett .50 caliber rifle, which was our whole reason for visiting. She offered us different packages, but we weren't really interested. She recognized that and didn't try to push anything on us, which was greatly appreciated. She handed us our tags and let us know it would be about a 10-minute wait while the RSO got everything set up. Enter Kenny! Kenny was a beast! He greeted us with the same hospitality that Hailey did. He explained how everything would work clearly, confidently, and firmly. Not overly stern, but enough to emphasize the importance of the tool we were about to handle. Being from Texas, we understand the responsibilities and dangers that come with firearms, but the safety briefing was still appreciated. I've met many RSOs over the years, and some can be overbearing with a bit of a god complex. As a gun collector and avid shooter, I can honestly say Kenny would be welcomed with open arms at the outdoor range I frequent back home. (Not trying to recruit him 😂.) If I could, I would give both of them—and the range itself—10 out of 5 stars. The next time I'm in Vegas, I'll absolutely return to Range 702. Keep up the amazing work and don't change! I even bought a shirt so I can represent here in Texas!

This was my first time ever holding and shooting a gun, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked through the door, the experience was outstanding. The front desk staff immediately made us feel welcome with their friendly attitude and positive energy. They set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible visit. A huge shoutout to Ian and Oskar, who were absolutely phenomenal instructors. As someone with zero experience around firearms, I was a little nervous going in, but they made everything easy to understand, safe, and genuinely fun. Their patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm turned what could have been an intimidating experience into one I’ll never forget. We got to shoot a Glock, MP5, M4, and an M249 SAW. While the M249 SAW was definitely my favorite, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed shooting the Glock as well. Every firearm was an amazing experience, and Ian and Oskar made sure we felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire session. The entire experience exceeded every expectation I had. Between the welcoming front desk team, the incredible instruction from Ian and Oskar, and the unforgettable opportunity to shoot such an amazing lineup of firearms, this was easily one of the most fun experiences I’ve had in a long time. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.
