If you find it necessary to look at this review of the REI flagship, I assume you are new to this country or maybe just new to the concept of outdoors type stuff. This is where you start when you want to go outside off the paved trails. 99% of their employees know not just what you will need to survive but to enjoy the outdoors experience. They sell good quality equipment and clothing that will keep you warm, dry so you can have fun on your adventure. It doesn't matter if its a day hike or a multi-day thru hike. They will hook you up with the right stuff. I have been a member for 35+ years and I have never been disappointed with their help, advice or equipment. On the very rare occasion when the equipment should not perform to my standards they are happy to take it back and/or replace it. Customer service has never failed to meet my expectations.

This store it really nice and has a good selection of quality clothing, shoes and outdoor camping/hiking goods. They're expensive due to high quality but if you join their members program you can return shoes for any reason for up to one year for a full refund. No other store give you a better return policy. Their Sales Associates are always nice and helpful.
