- SSSophia SAug 3, 20265.0Aloha from Hawaii! I was traveling to Las Vegas for our Havasupai trip and stopped by this REI. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, energetic, and genuinely kind. They were incredibly helpful, but that's not the main reason I'm writing this review. I've always loved REI because they always seem to have exactly what I'm looking for, whether it's camping, hiking, or biking gear. On this trip, I purchased a power bank, but unfortunately, I couldn't get it to charge or work properly. Even after returning home to Hawaii and trying several more times, I still couldn't get it to function. I called REI to see if they could locate my receipt so I could submit a warranty claim. Kim took my call, gathered my information, and shortly afterward Roland called me back after finding my receipt. When he asked what I wanted to do, I explained that I was hoping to submit a warranty claim. Instead, he generously offered to send me a replacement power bank. Unfortunately, because it contained a battery, shipping wasn't possible. Without hesitation, he refunded the full purchase price instead. I felt the least I could do was write this review to thank Kim and Roland for going above and beyond. Their patience, kindness, and willingness to help reminded me why I love REI. Outstanding customer service like this is rare, and it truly made a lasting impression. Mahalo, REI, for taking such great care of your customers!
- JJjoannieAug 2, 20265.0REI in Henderson NV had what we were looking to purchase. We were approached by one of the employees to ask if we needed help. He was able to take us right to what we were wanting to buy. Parking was difficult. We arrived around 1130 am, we had to park pretty far away.
