Today, I had an extremely uncomfortable and disappointing experience at a gun store in Henderson, Nevada, and I feel that my girlfriend and I were racially profiled. My girlfriend purchased a firearm online on September 28th as part of her birthday gift. Today, we went into the store so I could pay the remaining balance because the firearm was intended to be a gift for her. When I explained that I would be paying for it, the sale was suddenly declined. I asked why I couldn’t purchase the firearm as a gift for my girlfriend. The woman assisting us told me that yes, I could purchase a firearm as a gift, yet she still would not allow me to complete the purchase. At that point, since the firearm was already physically in the store, I asked if we could simply cancel the online order and purchase a different firearm that they already had in their inventory. Instead of getting a clear explanation, we were sent around in circles. Then a man wearing a hat came from the back and told us that we could now purchase the same firearm we originally purchased online, even though they knew from the beginning that it was a birthday gift for my girlfriend. That left me asking a very simple question: What was the difference? If I was allowed to purchase the firearm as a legitimate gift, why was I initially refused? And if the firearm was already in the store, why did the situation suddenly change? When I questioned the inconsistency, the man became increasingly frustrated. The conversation escalated, voices were raised, and ultimately we were told to leave. Before leaving, I knocked over a display item and told him to call the police. I take responsibility for that action, but I also want to be clear about what led up to that moment. I felt like we were being treated differently, and the lack of a consistent explanation made the entire situation feel discriminatory. I cannot say what was in anyone else’s heart or mind, but as a Black customer in 2026, the experience left me feeling racially profiled, disrespected, and unwelcome. I believe customers deserve to be treated with consistency, professionalism, and respect regardless of their race. I would like an explanation of why we were initially refused, why the answer changed, and what store policy was actually being applied. Being Black in 2026 is not for the weak. We deserve to be treated fairly, too.

I walked in with my girlfriend expecting to get the gun that I purchased online but when we walked in & started speaking with the blond head lady , she asked who the gun was for & I feel because we are black & I look young they immediately starting accusing us of making a straw purchase . My girlfriend explained we were in there because my birthday was 4 days ago and it’s a birthday gift, I was paying with my card the gun would be in my name & they still refused and accused . The gentleman that was there started to raise his voice and saying he was going to call the police etc . Anyone in the store has horrible customer service ! I was RACIALLY PROFILED ! BAD BUSINESS!

By far the best indoor range in town. Quick, efficient check-in process. My biggest gripe with other indoor ranges in the Valley....terrible ventilation systems and idiots shooting SBRs with brakes at paper 7 or 10 yards away. Total opposite experience here. The HVAC system here is so strong, you can literally see the targets sway slightly downrange, and no idiots shooting paper 7 yards away with SBRs. The 2 huge complimentary targets is a nice touch too. They also have a nice little military discount. Will be back.

Closest range to me. Pretty standard shooting range. The lanes are not as deep as other ranges, 15-17 yards max and they allow most common pistol caliber, as far as as rifles 5.56/.223 and 7.62x39 caliber. $20 bucks for the hour, ammo prices are decent. Staff is friendly. They do offer memberships and a private range if you choose the top tier membership which comes with loads of perks. I say give it a shot and check them out.
