  The women helping me find shoes, Margie I think, was absolutely stellar. Kind, informative, didnt make me feel like I was a bother, and led me to a shoe that fit my boxes.

  Great experience! Store was clean, fresh, and had nice displays. Will meet your needs for all things outdoors. Wide selection of clothing and shoes, camping gear, etc. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

  I never leave reviews but had such a bad experience. There was an older bigger women with grey hair working at the check out. I came in with a tent to return that I never used and did not open. It was obvious that it was brand new. She was extremely smiley and kind to the lady in front of me and behind me. To me and my husband she was the exact opposite. We even said have a great day and she couldn’t even look us in the eye or say it back. I really really hate to bring race into anything but it felt really racist since the only thing different about me was me being Hispanic. The lady in front of me also had a return. So sad to have had this experience at this store.

  I love REI as much as the next person, and I'm usually met by very friendly and engaging employees. However, Sierra at the register is probably one of the most unpleasant people I have ever interacted with. Both times I ran into her at this location I was met with scowls and an attitude. I rarely leave bad reviews, and I understand people might have things going on at home, but a lot of people do, and this is an absurd way to treat customers.

  This is not the closest REI to me but it's the one I drive to for the best customer service. I know several of the long time employees and they are always helpful if I'm venturing into a new hobby or place that I need to be outfitted for. The shoe department fits customers really well and has extensive knowledge on the right shoes for my own foot. They even offered guidance on how to modify the laces to secure the shoes around my narrow ankles. And the best surprise was that I had rewards on my account I didn't know about. The woman at the register, Dana, was super helpful in the checkout process. I will be back later in the fall for some winter gear.
