I was going here for my first time really hoping there were people here that would genuinely care about educating me on hiking shoes and helping me find the best option for my upcoming trip to Zion. The staff and experience at REI exceeded my hopes! Don in the shoe department was incredible. He seemed so gladly willing to have me test each shoe to ensure I found one that would give me the best experience. He is such an asset to the company. And Alyssa at the front counter was super helpful as well. I am so glad I made the choice to go to REI. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

Limited selection when I went. I wanted hiking boots and shorts. Its frickin August and all the shorts were gone except for huge women's sizes. Hiking boots were wiped out. On top of that, the prices were sky high. I likely won't be going back. On the plus side the staff were friendly and super helpful.

I wanted to buy a bicycle and tried to test it inside the mall, but a staff member scolded me and told me to get off. So how am I supposed to confirm whether this bicycle suits me? Am I supposed to judge it just by looking at it? After scolding me, the staff member even shook their head helplessly at other employees. The others didn’t say anything, but I feel this was a very, very, very terrible shopping experience! If anyone is planning to buy a bicycle, I suggest avoiding this store to prevent going through an experience like mine.
