  We recently acquired another bicycle for my husband. We chose this particular store because the Paramus location had unfortunately closed. We genuinely appreciate this establishment; they offer a comprehensive selection of camping equipment and excellent bicycles. We would certainly recommend them. While their clothing selection can be a bit pricey, they do provide a wide variety of options for camping, as well as high-end backpacks and gear.

  Patty and Dan helped us get fitted for packs. They were incredible and really helped us out. I can’t say enough great things about them and my shopping experience

  Terrible customer service, I clearly asked the sales associate if I should wait to purchase the veer wagon when their anniversary sale begins which is today may 15th, I was told that the price can be adjusted as long as it’s within 14 days of purchase.. I so bought it on the 12th. Today when I called to get a price adjustment.. they said on the fine prints it says cannot be adjusted on the prior purchases.. which was not what I was told otherwise why wouldn’t I have waited 3 more days. Maybe the sales person didn’t know or was new but they took no accountability. Besides the veer wagon , I bought a lot of other things as well. If I could give 0 starts for customer service for this location I would .

  Great customer service all around. At the register a colleague honored a sale price on a high dollar item I had purchased 2 weeks earlier. I and got a great deal on oboz boots during my visit, and also enjoyed an informative presentation in the community space.

  I will never buy here again. Just tried to return a pair of Hokas within the return period and the manager would not take them back because they were worn. This is agains the "generous" return policy they advertise. The sneakers are clearly defective (and I wear Hokas all the time so I would know). Not sure if it's just this REI store, the manager, or REI in general, but buyer beware!
