  This was the 2nd time I stayed at GN for one night, last time I stayed, I got hungry around 10pm. To my surprise, there was no restaurants open and you could not even get room service. I had to go to their gift shop and buy a mystery sandwich no sticker of what it was ,no date of expiration, from the reach in cooler where they keep cold beverages. So this time, I ordered a two club sandwiches from a restaurant that was open. That way, in case we got hungry after 10 PM we'd have something in the room to eat. We took them to go, and I still cannot believe they charged a $10.00 to go fee!!!?? And the sandwiches were made on bread.Not even toasted.

  The gentleman at the registration desk was nice. The room was spacious, decor was alright, but it was dusty as hell in there. The mirror that is connected to the dresser was clean but the actual dresser had a visible sheet of dust on it & so did the end tables next to the bed. Also, there was dust flying around everywhere. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me. It was sinking in & tore my back up. The bathroom was clean, but whenever we took a shower, the water was filling up in the tub & didn't go down until the shower was turned off. So gross. There is only one single lock on the door, (I felt a little unsafe because of that) and every time someone went in their room across the hall or next door, it sounded like they were coming into ours. No microwave in the rooms so we couldn't save any left over food. However, there was a mini fridge with sufficient cooling. Someone in the room right across from us ordered room service on Tuesday evening and sat the cart with the remaining food and drinks outside their door. The next evening, it was still sitting there, so my hubby pushed the cart further down the hall, as we were concerned that bugs would start gathering on/around the cart and making their way into our room. Staff was also present on our floor each day. I don't know how things work there but nobody took the cart and it was still there when we checked out this morning. As we were going down to the lobby, someone had left a paper bag with handles, full of containers with food residue in them, bottles and other trash right in front of the elevators. This was our first and last time at the Golden nugget.

  I sailed in and stayed at the marina. Such a great place. They have self service fuel with BoatUS discount, floating docks, dockside pump out, bathrooms, showers, laundry and dozen restaurants inside to eat at. A bit pricey but it's a nice place. The security is nice there. Gated access to the docks so you dont have to worry about other admiring your stuff too closely. Def 5 stars.

  Second time in Atlantic. Price was good so that’s why we decided to go to Golden Nugget. Front desk are not sure what they’re doing. Male manager was rude. The room was not very clean especially the bathroom. Called security at 3 AM 4 AM because our neighbors were fighting In the morning when we went to front desk, they said they have no idea and security did not write that we called them

  I stood there with my friend for the weekend and the cleaning crew never came in to clean up or give me new towels. Only on Friday night there was a guard by the elevators, asking everybody for their room key in order for you to pass any other day, it didn’t occur. I wanted to go to the pool area, but it was closed due to the weather so I was a bit disappointed, thinking they had an indoor pool. There were a lot of kids in the hotel not sure if there was a party going on. The walls to the room are so thin. You can hear people sneezing and laughing while you’re trying to sleep. There wasn’t much nightlife. It was only one spot that played oldies music. The hotel was chill. I liked the casino. Great restaurants within the hotel.
