We had a great night of bowling. It was the first night back open. I can say we did not enjoy the new menu. Staff was very professional and helpful. They did ask and we advised on our issues. We order wings, chicken on stick and drinks for 10. The menu definitely needs to be reworked. Chicken on the sticks should definitely have more than 3 small pieces of meat. It wasnt seasoned. Wings were ok but thing they be better/over the top if wet. Drinks were fabulous!!! The atmosphere is still very nice and not rowdy.

I used to LOVE Highball Lanes, but I was pretty disappointed when I came in yesterday. We brought an out-of-town friend in because she really wanted to go after hearing our praises for years, and we were met with mediocre and expensive food. After hyping up our faves, like the andouille egg rolls, we arrived and received a very limited menu printed on copy paper. I assume it was a temporary menu during their transition to a new chef, but nothing on it was special, and it was so expensive! I ordered a chicken on a stick meal, and it was identical to the classic gas station staple - but for $20. It was also significantly less flavorful than a gas station one. The fries were not great, and I didn’t eat them. So, I ate 3 small pieces of chicken, 2 slices of a potato, and 2 pickles, for $20. My husband got the shrimp poboy and it was good! The friend ended up with a pepperoni pizza and said it tasted fine, but we were all quite disappointed in the blandness and prices. I know that they are in a transitional period right now, and that change is very difficult, but I am really, really hoping things get better. I trust that y’all will once you get adjusted!

Saw pictures online and was excited to try it out for date night. We spent $130. We order a high noon, a margarita, loaded cheese fries, pretzel bites, and bowled a single game. The cheese fries were barely even fried, if at all they were soggy. The pretzel bites were over cooked almost too hard to bite into. The margarita was watered down with no rim and the paper left on the straw for sanitary reasons was soaking in the drink itself. On top of the below par food, the lanes are not kept up. I own my own bowling gear and have bowled in many leagues. There was absolutely no oil on the lanes. I’m quite unsure how they hold events and/or leagues at this place. Additionally the bowling attendants could not have cared less about the customers in front of them, playing on their phones, vaping and extremely uninterested in serving guests. I will not return or recommend this place to anyone.
