The rooms are big, but unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The room was not cleaned to my standards, and I had to call housekeeping to freshen it up after checking in. I later noticed thick dust covering the ceiling fan, which made me question the overall cleanliness. The lighting in the room was terrible. It was so dim that I couldn’t even do my makeup properly, and there wasn’t a vanity mirror available. The hot tub took about 30 minutes to fill completely, which was very inconvenient. The shower wasn’t much better. The water pressure was extremely hard, almost to the point that it was painful to shower. The smoke throughout the common areas was overwhelming due to poor ventilation, and the property itself feels very outdated. Guest parking was extremely inconvenient, and there were no bell carts to help with luggage. Overall, I would not stay here again.

I genuinely wish I could give this hotel -10 stars because even 1 star is way too generous. 😭🤦‍♂️ This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First of all, there wasn’t even a microwave in the room, which is such a basic thing to have. 😐 Then I found out that housekeeping doesn’t even come unless you’ve stayed FOUR DAYS OR MORE… like what kind of hotel does that?! 😭💀 The pool was dirty, poorly maintained, and looked like nobody had cleaned it in forever. 🤢🌊 On top of that, they don’t even bother picking up the trash, so everything just feels neglected and gross. 😡🗑️ It honestly seems like they don’t care about their guests at all. Every part of this stay felt cheap, lazy, and disappointing. 😤👎 I definitely won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy paying money for terrible service and zero effort. Save yourself the frustration and book literally anywhere else. 😭🙅‍♂️🚫

We were excited about this trip because it was our anniversary. We booked the room a month in advance and by the drive being 6hrs away, we paid for early check-in. We arrive a few minutes before check-in(11:28), and the room was not ready. We was told to wait 30-40 minutes for them to clean and inspect. 12:32, room still not ready, so we wait again. 1:20, room still not ready, they offer us another room but still have to wait on the inspection. 2:20, the lady was going to make us pay again..wow, another lady came over and they offered another room that was supposed to be ready, we accept. The room wasn't, so many issues... we couldn't wait to leave and never visit again. If I could I would give zero stars. Hotel part was unsatisfactory

Very disappointed in my stay. Each staff member and manager ruined it for me. Not just one, but each one I encountered. First it was my birthday and I had rented a room for my daughter, SIL and grandchildren. I rented two rooms for myself and my son. I stay there all the time, I played there all the time. Rooms were okay, the power plugs in room would not hold the plugs in them, had to charge cellphone in bathroom. The tub that I requested had little water pressure of hot water so it took for ever to fill up. My home just burnt down on the 30th of May and I was so looking forward to the tub. We woke up and went to the sports bar for breakfast. we went up to dress for the pool. With the 4 year old and 1 year old grandkids, we started off at the level 3 pool but it was dirty and no shade what so ever. No umbrella, no shade anywhere. We started off to head to the H2o pool. Now the pool is far away from your actual rooms and casino. You have to use your key to get into the area (no biggie) then get a wrist band from the desk and get your towels. Okay cool, towels and bands check. Ask about renting a cabana. Not one worker knew how to do it. They informed me to scan the QR code and do it on my phone. I then showed them the app was not working. After 10 minutes of showing them how their app was not working, 2 babies standing in the sun and heat, I then asked them to get a manager and send them to the open cabana they said I could rent. We then headed to the Cabana A. Fan.... as slow as a snail but they did have a tv, mini fridge and brought water with a bucket of ice. Within 10 minutes of ordering drinks and paying for the cabana, they told everyone to get out of the pool because of lighting near by. We all got out, went inside the cabana and proceeded to wait the next 3 hours for the lighting to stop. Rain came, wind came and then it was all clear. The pool waitress came by several times ordering drinks. The weather finally gave us the go ahead and we jumped in the hot tub for now its cool out from the rain and wind. As soon as we got into the hot tub, the staff came and told us it was time to clear out of the cabana because they close them at 6pm. Something they should have mentioned the 3 hours we waited. Next was the constant fussing of crew walking around about the kids sitting near or standing next to the hot tub. Yes, 18 to be in the tub, I get it and understand but they were sitting on the ledge next to us. Finally I was just done and ready to close the tab. Birthday has been a bust waiting for the rain. So we got the babies into their towels, they were freezing. We started the very long walk back to the room. We all forgot to turn the a/c up when we left, not expecting the temps to drop outside. As soon as we reached the hall way to enter into the elevators one of the staff told us we had to leave the towels there with them. I asked if the babies could keep theirs till we got to the room and I would bring them right back down. NOPE!! Managers were walking up and I said, the babies are freezing, its been a long walk and I will bring them right back down. NOPE. My daughter did not know that we had been stopped and was waiting for us with holding the elevator door. I complained, expressed my disappointment and decided at that moment, Golden nugget would never get us in those doors again. They took the towels, the manager went to the elevator and took the towel from my daughter and we went up to the rooms to start packing. Even though I paid for two room for that night as well, I was not spending another moment in that casino or hotel. We all had plans for my birthday dinner to go to Morton's and then the Chocolate box. I was so upset, I just wanted to go home. I understand that towels disappear, I get it. I own a business but if they want to act like this, its unfortunate. Then turn to an all adult hotel. Put the pool towels in the room like most hotels or cruise ships and charge the damn account if they are missing. DON'T TAKE THEM FROM BABIES!!!! TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE GOLDEN NUGGET.

The experience wasn't the best. I planned a father's day weekend getaway for my spouse only for him to be disappointed by the hotel experience. So we check in on Friday evening and enter our room that smelled so strong of mildew and stale odor. The furniture was all chipped and old looking, definitely needed to be updated no doubt. The bathroom had black hairs in sink, tub and around toilet, the floor wasn't very clean, the bed didn't have a fitted sheet on it, it had a flat sheet that didn't cover the whole bed. The bottom where the feet go was completely uncovered without a sheet. Something was leaking as part of the floor would be wet in the morning by the bed. Luckily I always carry cleaning stuff with me because I want to make sure it is CLEAN... I also bring my own sheets because often sheets aren't changed or clean.... I did reach out to front desk Friday night and was told no other room was available and that they could send someone to clean .. I said i already did that... Asked for a manager to call me and as of Monday when we checked out still no call or visit to room from anyone. The location was nice, Michael Patrick's eatery was nice, staff in some places were friendly. The pool is definitely more costly than other casinos in Biloxi. We usually stay at IP and haven't ever had these kind of issues. I think to be safe we will continue to stay at IP. Especially after paying for this room and deal with what we had too!!. Overall the weekend was great minus the room issues and excessive pricing at the pool.
