  1 star because my family had fun but the people giving the tutorials for the mopeds are EXTREMELY rude and condescending! The initial instructions are provided only 1x very quickly- you can barely hear them bc they are on a loud busy street by the ferry, then they get annoyed if you dont have it all. He barked at my 26 year old son because he didn't remember all the steps then denied him a moped.The location for a place that tests ones ability to ride the moped is ridiculous. Their shop should be AWAY from the downtown so people can safely do a test run. Your 1st and only opportunity to test ride they throw you into traffic on one of the busiest sections of town where you are constantly stopping and starting due to bottle necked traffic. He was also ready to deny my husband who has ridden several times. Noone can ride in their dangerous location! They are meant to be used around the island which is mostly rural. Then they tell you to avoid the cobblestones, well that is only done if you move your shop out of downtown. It's ridiculous!

  These guys were amazing! What a great time we had riding around the island. They were very informative and worked with us as we had a limited time and made it worth our while. I left my sweatshirt there and called after I left the island and they took the time to mail it back to me in my home state of Wisconsin! Great people! Thank you so much!

  We rented 3 bikes for two days: one with a child seat behind the rider, and two regular ones. The two ones were the specialized brand, and the one with the child seat a different brand. All bikes had extra fat, no flat tires and came with 7 shift speed and disc brakes. They were new looking and very comfortable to ride. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend the store enough.

  Expensive but very good staff who take the time to explain everything and the bikes were in tip top shape. We splurged and got the electric assist bikes and thank god we did cause it’s a long ride to sconset and I don’t we could have made it with regular bikes. Bike paths do not have water views. They’re basically just sidewalks beside the roads with houses on either side so the houses block the water views. So expect some truck fumes. Bike path really needs to repaved. When they repaved the roads, they didn’t bother to do the bike paths, which are right beside them, which is kind of microcosm of the culture on the Island. Nantucket caters more.to the Uber wealthy than the weekend tourists. But worth a peek nonetheless.
