  This is a very, very good store with exceptional customer service. We stopped by simply to look at rock climbing shoes and were fortunate to receive help from Matt, who was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. His expertise and willingness to answer our questions made the experience both enjoyable and informative. Not only did we find the perfect climbing shoes, but we also purchased a new backpack and decided to become REI members. What started as a quick visit turned into an outstanding shopping experience. I would like to thank Matt and everyone else on the staff we interacted with for their EXCEPTIONAL service. It's rare to encounter such a knowledgeable and customer-focused team. We will definitely be back! Thank you again!

  Highly recommend developing a relationship with the bike shop guys if you are a cyclist in the south shore. I have had only 10/10 experiences and interactions with them, and won’t take my bike elsewhere

  Matt assisted me in finding a new pair of rock climbing shoes, and he was fantastic. Incredibly invested in my experience the products would give me and circled back a few times to make sure everything was right. Also gave us much helpful advice. If every store was filled with people like Matt, the world would be a much happier place. Thanks!

  GREAT! Been going here last couple years after getting into hiking. Always a great store and staff is amazing. I am bad with name so everyone is great but Sue is always very friendly and cares. Always our go to place for outdoor gear.
