Jim is a good instructor and easy going, he explained everything pretty thoroughly and helped out when anyone had questions.
I took the LTC course at on target .Jim was such a great instructor. I have never shot a gun before and I was super nervous!! I was so happy to have Jim there to help and guide me 🥰

Lu was incredibly informative and made the entire experience engaging and fun, time flew by before we even realized it. The hands-on range experience was amazing, and Lu supported us every step of the way. I highly recommend taking this course!
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS RANGE/STORE
I’ve been in the store three times and every single time the dinosaur named “Lew” is always arguing with customers and generally just has a terrible attitude.
The last time I went to the store, after spending three thousand dollars the weekend before, I got a lane with one of my friends.
Shooting was great had a good time, employee named Tyler was nice, respectful, and even let us shoot one of his handguns so what happened next was very disheartening.
My friend and I finished shooting and we were cleaning up and putting our guns away.
“Lew” is just standing at the back of the range with a very condescending look on his face. As I was putting my rifle away, bolt open no magazine, CLEARLY not loaded and or primed to shoot. My rifle was laying flat in my bag and I was adjusting the placement of it and he runs up to me and yells at me “KEEP IT DOWN RANGE” obviously I had no idea what he was talking about and I’m just trying to leave at this point.
I then tell him to just let me put my gun away it’s not loaded and the bolt is open at that point it’s just a piece of metal who cares I “flagged my friend” for .2 seconds while putting the gun away. I said that to him and he had the audacity to touch my property and when I told him to stop he said “don’t talk back to me BOY”
Yes this dinosaur called me a “BOY” so as any man would in this situation I stopped being cooperative and this angered him. He said along the lines of “keep talking and you’ll see” so I had to straight up ask the guy if he’s threatening to shoot me the look in his eyes was pure hatred and anger, all because I was 90% complete in putting my gun away.
He then stood there and watched me as I locked my guns up and put them in my bag.
Once I exit the range and was waiting to check out he the proceeds to loudly talk badly about me to a coworker as if I wasn’t standing there. Obviously I’m just trying to leave now so I didn’t say anything.
This store/range will not receive another dime from me and I’m ashamed I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this establishment.
Most of the employees are very condescending and straight up just not nice people, however Tyler and George deserve a raise for actually being the only nice employees there.
The irony of this whole situation is the dinosaur named “LEW” flagged me with a p938 when I asked to look at it. I guess flagging rules only apply to the peasants that spend money at this business.

I recently completed a gun handling and management class, and it exceeded my expectations. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and made sure every student felt confident and safe throughout the entire course. The training covered everything from proper handling and storage to situational awareness and responsibility, all explained in a clear and practical way.
What stood out the most was the emphasis on safety and real-world application. The hands-on portion was especially valuable—it helped reinforce everything we learned and built real confidence in handling a firearm correctly.
Whether you’re a beginner or someone looking to sharpen your skills, I highly recommend this class. It’s well-structured, informative, and absolutely worth it.
